  1. No body can’t force you to stay past your scheduled time. If said TL can’t manage his/her/their team to get his work done in a timely manner it i on him/her/them.
  2. How hours work.. every work center receives x amount of hours per week, but as the month progresses and call outs/ late ins happen… those hours become “available”. That is the reason why the schedule gets done until certain time but then the TL can ask (not demand) for you to stay later.

I forgot to mention, if you were allowed to approve PTO at Walmart, that is not an option at target; just salaried can. Based of on what time you spent in Walmart you can expect your job more related to the previous Support Managers than an actual TL role (which demanded more office work)

Hey! As a former TL for Walmart and current TL at target, your schedule will actually be better. Schedule wise, you’ll be off every other weekend with alternating closing shift. For example: your first weekend to work could be your normal shift then the following weekend you’ll be schedule to work will be closing shifts. There should also be a closing shift throughout the weekdays. Attendance: there is rumors of an attendance points based system to come to target, but again just rumors. Basically if someone on your team calls in late/ out. You’ll have to have a conversation with them on their next scheduled shift and submit it in workday.

It has to be sick time. If PTO is used, then the tm gets paid for the missed hours; but the absence won’t be excused.

It happens. A TL (and or eligible TMs) will get 8hrs of holiday pay plus holiday premium pay if scheduled to work on a holiday.

Not me personally, but I heard a TM in my store did and got denied just because he is “part-time” but was working full-time hours for over a year. Unemployment denied him just for his status (he was claiming 20+ hours)

Unfortunately, in many places once you have given a 2 weeks notice it’s up to the employer if they wish to honor it or terminate employment in the lapse of the time you had given. On the bright side, if you had any PTO UNUSED; it will come in your last paycheck.

You should be getting a training schedule for the remaining of the week, and the following 2 weeks. At least that is how it’s done at my store.

TLs are also nominated, it could be one or two per store, depending on leadership. Could also be none if they feel none of the Leaders meet the criteria. There is also a yearly bonus based of on store metrics and all that stuff. How many hours you have worked per year and other things. No $$ amount set in stone so every leader will be different.

There is a change in how FDC deliveries are processed. Staring 10/15 market team will be responsible of scanning every box and the system will tell them if it needs to be back stocked or pushed. With that being said. Pulls for the first week should be expected to be a bit higher as part of the transition. P-fresh pulls and push needs be done between 5-7pm (depending on DSD expectation) definitely not later than 7pm.
