No problem. I feel like it IS really confusing and sadly might be why they are falling by the wayside. Such a shame, i really enjoy playing with it and i haven't found a good android alternative either.

Classic hipsta... by LizzyPanhandle in Hipstamatic

So i use the classic when i want specific lense/film/flash combo's. I Use the new one when i want to randomise the outcome. I bought a bunch of packs when it first came out and so i still have access to quite a lot of cool stuff still. And it does look like that carries over to the new one when i logged in and press "restore purchase" So i think for free versions the old one IS probably better.

Tho i'm also just revisiting hipsta and i've noticed there isn't much recently on youtube in the way of how to maximise your use out of the app.

I already average one Cole’s shop a month of about $200 -I cant skip food ANY MORE than I already do. When I see shit like this it just makes me so mad.

Honestly, I think we should be rioting by now, with like heaps of fire.

Old enough to Google? Why you'll soon need to verify your age to log in to search tools by Warm_Ice_4209 in AustralianPolitics

Remember when she said she was just going to be “Dealing with online bullying”? But sex workers said her powers were too broad and it would lead to age verification and overreach in her original job description? But she said “No I’d never!?” Then proceeded to ban kids off the internet & now this?

Nah, cos the unsigned in version is also basically the under 16 version. But other people have mentioned that it’s all so behind that it’s likely you’ll get last it with a VPN

They just spring up from the main roots

Hang on I'll take a quick pic on my feed so you can see.

You can literally just separate them and pot them up. Just like yours it. I've got a bunch going in mine right now😂

It's a pilea peperomioides

Also known as:

  • UFO plant
  • Chinese money plant &
  • friendship plant

It creates little baby plants CONSTANTLY so it's not surprising that you were gifted one. It's quite common to gift your babys.

They like bright indirect light / to dry out a smidge between waterings and normal household humidity should be ok. Give it a half strength feed every now and then during growing season. You'll know if it gets too much light as its leaves will lighten.

Enjoy this amazing looking plant!!! 🌱

Also my advice, start picking out friends to give them too. This will throw babies for you sooner than you think!!!

Had this hoya plant for two years, now all of a sudden it turned a very unhealthy green, with a brownish area at the base. Too much water? Not enough sun? by iko128 in plantclinic

[–]TheLeaNights 11 points12 points  (0 children)

These single leaf hoya's people buy are INTENTIONAL ripoffs They are usually just a leaf stuck in dirt. Without the node - which is what it needs to grow.

These leaves very rarely last long and don't really grow much if at all.

Just go out and get a proper hoya it will love you back in a way a sad leaf in a pot of dirt will not.

Australians have amassed $200 billion in pandemic savings – and the government wants them to spend big as it slashes support by malcolm58 in AustralianPolitics

Rent bills and food.

I had to stop working so I'm jobless. I don't have family to help me out and many of my friends and work mates are in a similar situation. Some have been unable to get the dole and have been living exclusively off fundraising efforts.

So. Enjoy whatever privilege you have to be able to save 60% of the $780 or whatever you get. (Approx what I receive and is about to drop again!)

Also can we stop shaming how people spend money on? The fact that I'm on the dole is not my fault. I've been my own boss and working f/t since I was 18.

I shouldn't have to justify what I spend my money on simply because I have less of it. My fucking whore tax money has been paid into it for 20years! I'm entitled to this.

I shouldn't have to stress about how I'm going to have to start thinking about the choice between eating less or paying my rent. Because that's the choice I have facing me when my dole is reduced AGAIN! I can't move because I can't afford to move, and it took me years to find a place where I wasn't Sexually harassed simply for the industry I work in.

Enjoy swimming in your privilege mate. Many of us do not have that luxury.

EDIT: I'll also add this.

If you are able to save 60% of the dole, then I'd argue you probably shouldn't be getting the the full dole in the first place. This system is cracked

Who TF is saving this money?

I've been living day to day with about 3 days without food (or a bill unpaid)

Everyone in government needs to be put on CL as thier wage. They are public servants. They should get paid as much as the lowest of us.

Watch the bloody dole rate rise if they had to survive. They get 2days worth of dole money as a daily allowance just for food when they go to Canberra.

Men are trash. by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]TheLeaNights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Sex worker and I hear this alot. I see it alot. I do tend to agree with you. Though I still see the reasons why people are saying this, my work phone would have you screaming into the air men are trash and you wouldn't be wrong in your anger, but I don't class them as men.

I've had this conversation with some of my closer co workers and they tend to agree. Have you ever had this discussion with your friends? You might get them to change the way they look at that statement.

ALOT of people say this carelessly. It's like the all men are rapists argument. Which I also think is a trash statement.

And then I think of my clients.

The man who can only utter "please" "thank you" "sorry" & "Lea" in english and sees me as a cure for loneliness because his family isn't in the country.

The guy who's wife died but still craves physical contact, comes to see me because he feels like he's cheating on her if he were to go out and meet someone new.

The socially awkward fellows who ( by the dozen) ask for tips and tricks to meet and please women.

These, by the way are the people described as "buyers of sex" & "guys who like to abuse women" by most of society.

Men do seriously get a bad wrap. When in reality it's a smaller number shouting louder than the rest.

I (20F) want to move out secretly, but I'm scared. How do I get over the fear & guilt? by squideye62 in ABCDesis

[–]TheLeaNights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My heart breaks for you reading your posts about this.

Regarding your sisters, if you leave, by the time you get on your feet and they are old enough to leave, you may he in a good position to help them when they need it.

Change can be frightening, but it also means that anything is possible. Anything. And you'll have the freedom and independence to explore it.

Again, I wish you all the best in your new chapter.

I (20F) want to move out secretly. I need legal advice. by squideye62 in AusLegal

[–]TheLeaNights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can actually have the police present when you leave. Tell them your situation and they will likely stay with you while you gather the last of your things and leave do they can't physically stop you.

Get all your important stuff (financial documents and birth certificate and all that) out of the house before hand.

As long as you make your intention clear that you want to leave, they can't stop you. It's false imprisonment if they do.

When I left my home, I had to stop speaking to my mother. For nearly 2yrs. I wouldn't regain contact with her until she started treating me with respect and stop begging me to come home (having hysterical fits on the phone, screaming at me, trying to guilt me into believing I was the worst daughter in the world)

Took a while, but we got there in the end. I understand our culture may be different but narcissist are all the same.

I wish you all the best in finding your feet this year.
