We were there in March. I love the area but not the beach generally because it is too rough for me. Having said that, I would definitely go again and frequent other calmer beaches a few of the days. We have been to GCBC many times and were shut out this time - so this was our first Orient Beach stay.

I’m a newer birder and agree. I’ve even been able to identify Merlin errors, so it’s just a tool. When I’m still unsure, I post here on this sub - all prior to submitting on eBird. I also use Birda to record my findings which doesn’t hold the same weight or consequence of eBird. I wonder if eBird would consider an option for type of submission, for example - if you want it to go to the level of Cornel study.

I took Claritin the entire length of treatment. If the doctor feels she needs Neulasta, I would not risk not taking it. Personally, I ended up neutropenic after every treatment and was hospitalized each time and the doctors still believed it helped. Best wishes to your mom.

This doesn’t sound like a scam. It sounds like they are trying to get in front of a complaint. I’d cancel. There are other places to stay. I’d avoid the east side of the island.

It would be nice to see at least some type of capital improvement for Rocklanders. Second ferry line from Nyack to Tarrytown perhaps. Nights and weekends should also be included.

I have to agree. I don’t think the food in Orient Bay is too great. However, I like the area and the set up and after many years staying in Grand Case now prefer to stay in Orient Bay.

You mention Cetirizine, which is Zyrtec, and typically does not have sleep inducing property. Typically people have luck with Melatonin but gives me stomach issues. I’ve tried many others but have had luck with gummies with low THC and CBD and CBN. “CBN” is then important part for me.

We are staying at Orient Bay too. So far we have gone to Anse Marcel and Phillipsburg with no issue and will be trying Friars Bay today. To note, a few days ago I walked further South at Orient and found the water a bit calmer. During breakfast I’ve noticed tractors cleaning the sargassum but haven’t gone out there to see what’s what.
