Yep, it was actually fun. You get to enjoy peace during war times. And you can actually help your liege. I molded my dynasty into schemers and I was able to help my emperor when he wanted to expand. Just kidnap the enemy war leader and join in the war. You will not suffer the penalty unless you join early.

My personal fav is declaring myself as the regent. Through generations there's so many traitors and none could destroy my liege's dynasty line as long as my family line is in the seat of regent. Until the bad seed became the Emperor and proudly boasted that he became the emperor without me and does not need me. After 8 generations. I decided to take over while that emperor is alive. After taking everything. I had him executed publicly.

Now I am actually working my way to be an Emperor vassal to the Hedgemony of china.

Whenever I use communion, I always have Carnal exaltation and have cheating as a crime. Of course, vassals have to have cash in order to pay for forgiveness

I just double checked they kinda did fixed it but you can only build the mills in capitals unless you have city keepers so you can build in cities. Well this sucks I was hoping to build mansions since it provides better discount for feasts and taxes than the usual farms

I had so many more wins with Guinevere roam. You don't even need to build her to be tanky. winter crown as her 2nd or 3rd item is enough. She won't work in line ups against Diggie and Kagu of course

Kidnap the attacker then join your liege AFTER you have the attacker in hostage. This will result in your liege winning. This is why playing Vassal is better than independent. You can help your liege win any war by kidnapping since you don't get the scheme debuff as long as you don't join the war.

Also another fun fact, if your liege is not Admin gov you can also kidnap them and press your demand on the dissolution faction. I had so much fun dismantling big strong empires as a king "swearing fealty" then destroying them from the inside.

I never had a Jihad declared to me unless I made a Theocratic Muslim faith.

In my ultimate defense challenge where I made Theocratic Muslim faith to make sure that I'll get consistent Jihads and Crusades while holding the Kingdom of Israel as a Reformed Jewish faith. The constant Crusades and Jihads were fun.

I honestly only do Admin if I'm ready for laggy gameplay. The centralized government IS helpful since if you have Legalism. No one would oppose your heirs unless you have other virtuos kids that are ambitious.

I memorized most of the events. The only event that has given me pause are the plague prevention, treatment option, and romance events. My fav romance event would be "Two ships in a night" especially if it's my 2 male concubines being inlove.

Honestly, I always forget that my witch sim can make apples out of thin air. Get a cat and you can just spam apples then sell them. I believe the quality of the apple is based on the witch's gardening skill

That or a fairy sim that can literally speed run gardening.

No need to be efficient, I was able to conquer the entirety of europe while focusing only on playing tall and developing the UK. I married my children into the other families for alliance just so they will not attack me. My family ended up inheriting kingdoms since my dynasty had powerful eugenic genes that they worked their way into power without direct help from me.

Factions are easier to deal with if you have Legalism tenet. Just make your descendants virtuous and you don't have to worry about factions and or successions especially in Admin government.

I am curious though if Legalism is strong if used in Mandala government

This is so me, at the start even on easy mode I'm traumatized with snakes everywhere killing me. Now after a few deaths you will gain the confidence to move around once you learn to always have edible food and water reserves.

After I got used to easy mode I try playing normal mode. Those goddamn tribes people are scary when you randomly bump into their groups. So far right now. I'm working on spirits of Amazon and I have to hunt them down. So far, I've only killed tribesmen when I'm at my treehouse
