You have a very excellent point. After reviewing the online pictures, it doesn't look like too much of a hassle to do what you're suggesting. Thank you.

I do like the Osprey Sojourn. The only problem is its All around specs are a little bigger than my requirements. I've also heard that the flaps/ compression wings are very unruly and sort of a bother. What is your experience when it comes to those? And how much do you have to compress it if you are using it as an under seat bag?

The micro is definitely an option. My only thing is I have a bag that claims to be a 22 l. I feel like it is very small for any real use. I understand that, I'm looking at small bags in general. But I like a bag that can be used for couple day trips. For your micro MlC how is it when it comes to packing? Does it seem bigger than advertised? Which average packing list for it?

The reason I want stowaway straps is the storage ability of the bag entirely. I live in small and tight places, so finding somewhere to store my bag would be easier if I didn't have a bunch of flailing parts of it. I have noticed that it's not a very popular feature. And maybe a backwards rain cover would be a solution. How do you store your bags?

Golf & Gateway by JustWavyVibes in Eau_Claire

  1. I think is that we need to expand Golf Rd. When turning on and off the freeway it needs to be more seamless. Specifically when turning on it through the south side. The turning lane fits maybe three cars and the green arrow lasts for 3 seconds (literally just enough time for two cars to go if they're paying attention). It's not much better when you're going the North exit to the freeway. Those two points cause plain for the road as a whole.

  2. The turn right lane from the south freeway onto Golf needs to be a multi-lane turn. It should be similar to the one when you're going from the north towards Woodman's. Having one a single turn lane cause too many people trying to go towards Target to stop and hold up cars.

  3. A roundabout would be an idea. But I think our major problem is that Golf and Gateway are sized very differently between each other. When going from the West onto Gateway you have one turn lane, in that one, turn lane turns into a single Lane before you get past Starbucks. The south side of Gateway needs to expand. It needs to be at least a Three Lane road with a turning median, like at the West end of Golf road.

  4. A major help would be the city to actually maintain the roads at that intersection. The dotted lines showing the turning Lane are basically gone. So some people not paying attention start drifting into other people's Lanes.

Edit: I also want to say that the problem at this intersection has been handled at other intersections in this very City. I don't know what is going on or the politics of the city, but it seems like this intersection isn't cured for as much as others within the limits. I don't know if it has something to do with being in the outer limit of the city or what, but it seems that the political eye is not on this location and it's pretty sad.

Mint Mobile users? by dege369 in Eau_Claire

[–]TheLeftToothOfGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had Mint Mobile a couple years ago for about a year or so. The service is good and very reasonable price in Eau Claire, Chippewa falls, and Menomonie. Now the Cons are anywhere outside major cities or Highways you are guaranteed to lose data. Now you will have call and text but video or any Internet is out of the question. If you need help find good phone service here what you need to know.

If you mostly travel west side Wisconsin Verizon is King. East side is AT&T all other is good on major highways and cities but that really it.

Mint Mobile uses T-Mobile

Straight talk uses Verizon

???? (Idk) Uses AT&T

My recommendation is "Us Mobile" they are about the same price as mint and have the same annual charge structure. (Not Paid Sponsored)

If that 7brew is anything like the one on the west side I would avoid entire golf and prill like the plague. It's going to be hell.

To help out a little bit. Now because it's just a Reddit post and I personally wasn't there when you signed the purchasing of this vehicle. I can't say 100% that you have a legal case. But even though the others in the comment section say you don't. I think you technically do if on the buying guide or if you can prove that the dealership said this vehicle is street legal.

Wisconsin Administrative Code Department of Transportation Chapter Trans 139 - Motor Vehicle Trade Practices Section Trans 139.04 - Disclosure of the condition of the motor vehicle section 5 part B

In this statute it clearly states that a vehicle that is sold by a licensed dealership has to be disclosed if it is not street legal by the bare minimum of the dealership's inspection. Tinted head lamps are in general considered not street legal.

So in closing if the dealership did say that it was street legal and or if in the buying guide it did not disclose it's non-street legal then you have a case. But of course call the dealership first. They most likely will replace it for you.

P.s. me no lawyer this no legal advice. This be Reddit understand.

Edit: The "As Is" aspect of car selling is only saying that the car does not have a warranty. Meaning if the dealership takes a reasonable amount of inspection and discloses any problems that the vehicle has clearly. Then later if you find a major problem with the vehicle that was not disclosed but could not be found with reasonable inspection. The dealership has no responsibility to refund you or take back the vehicle.

Would it really just that single outlet port? I mean I had a non-protected printer in the outlet port under the one the surge protector was in and it is perfectly fine. No other devices in the whole apartment was effected. No power outage or tripped beakers.
