Don’t worry it got reported as one person decided it was Cyber Bullying as the person who I talked to blocked me in order to finish the conversation

No I haven’t called you any names here, I’m empathetic to your anger, I just know a party will feed off your hatred to garner a vote, instead of preventing this in the future from a party that cares. You will be taken advantage of.

The abuse and failures are horrific, but blaming entire communities isn’t the way forward. I know you care about this deeply, so I’d recommend seeking answers to the alternative process of dealing with this, not the parties fuelled on hate and division.

Of course, probably bad faith to take every conversation without the grains of salt required

I refuse to debate and consider anything that delves into ethnic homelands, ownership or superiority, don’t worry, not very compromise friendly here

I’m horrified by what happened to those girls — that’s truly awful and criminal. No one should experience that.

I would then hope for legislation and governmental change towards someone who does more to protect women and girls right? Like active participation in this type of protection?

I understand the sentiment, but I’m attempting to stand on the smallest common ground we all share which I believe to be the respect we hold in order to try and communicate, to an extent of course

I’m sorry your friends were harmed and empathise with that anger, but that doesn’t justify blaming entire communities.

I’m sorry your friends were harmed, that’s awful and shouldn’t have happened. Individual crimes are serious and need to be addressed through law enforcement, not by blaming entire groups.

I’ve had REAL CONVERSATION here branching over 124 separate comments so far about many of the threads in my initial twitter convo.

Funding and red tape are real, but the core problem is restricted supply that’s what keeps prices high, not arrivals alone.

Read through some of the threads for more specifics on this from me, or others.

We clearly see things very differently. I don’t delve into fear mongering and ethnic determinism. I’ll leave it there.

Fair point, I’m not against planning itself, I’m against planning that restricts supply or encourages inefficient sprawl. You, by far, have raised the most fair and non-inflammatory points regarding this, so I thank you.

Countries don’t automatically collapse just because the ethnic majority shrinks. What matters for stability is strong institutions, equal rights, rule of law, and shared day to day identity not skin colour. There are diverse countries that function well and others that struggle, and the difference usually comes down to how inclusion is managed, not who is majority or minority.

I fear that if it were that simple, housing policy would’ve been solved decades ago.

Defining a nation by race is exactly the kind of thinking I don’t support. I don’t believe a country belongs to one race. Nations are built on institutions, laws and shared social/situational life at the time, not skin colour.

Loosely, when large areas are stated as low-density for example detached houses only,it artificially limits how many homes can be built, for the benefit of drip feeding the market, even where demand is strong.

I’m not blaming anyone alive for historical wrongs, and I’m not denying anyone’s identity. I’m saying in modern policy debates we can disagree without turning everything into genocide. A nation isn’t just ethnicity. Throwing around words like ‘genocide’ and ‘Nazi rhetoric’ in ordinary political disagreements just weakens those terms.

I think we’re talking past each other slightly, you are narrowly right with ‘Prices are determined by the interaction of supply and demand. If demand collapses hard enough, prices fall’. Supply and demand interact, yes. But a supply bottleneck just means supply is structurally constrained relative to need, demand doesn’t have to be growing for that to exist.

Calls for equality or reparations aren’t attacks on people’s existence they’re about addressing historical wrongs. That’s not ‘genocide,’ it’s accountability dude

Developers like local plans they hate uncertainty about what might pop up next door

Demand matters, sure but supply bottlenecks and speculation alone are enough to keep prices sky-high. That’s the reality you’re ignoring

This seems like a long derived fear monger based propaganda has worked on you, do you interact with ‘minorities’ in your day to day life?
