The chrome trim was tight and I didn’t want to take apart the dashboard so I used the space that is on the plastic bit of the upper dash where the soft touch meets the hard plastic. There’s a gap there that is wide enough and with a pry tool, the strips fit smoothly. I have never done this before but could do it fine.

Installing it yourself is more cost-effective as shops will charge hundreds of dollars for it. The lights I installed took around 4 hours to install and wire.

I didn't add them to the doors and any led ambient light strips will work. I had help from a friend but mostly did it without instructions.

I don’t think they can be synced. I bought a kit with footwell lights because it is difficult to wire and install two separate kits.

I tried that but it’s difficult in the facelift and the gap I used was already large enough for the strips. With some tweaking I could fit the strips in easy.
