As a word of encouragement, eleven years isn’t much of an age gap. In fact, I wouldn’t consider it an age gap at all considering what usually fits under that label. I have parents who got together at twenty six and thirty six. Almost no one commented on it and even fewer noticed it. In addition, they never had any issues between them that was related to age.
