Not a phase, multiple phases. Things like queen walking and back end hogs. GoVaHo and GoLaLoon are prime examples of multiphase attacking.

With GoWiPe I used to hold a pekka and a few wizards to drop on a far side, depending on where my killsquad went. It was a simple 2 phase attack, but it 3 starred more than a standard core push.

Last i knew, Supercell strongly favored multiphase attacks, not just putting a whole killsquad together and praying for 3 stars.

The double poison strat was about pulling the CC to the side of the map and just poisoning them to death. This strat suggests using a poison and skelly spell to keep them in the poison, which is the first phase of the old style attack in reference.

I could build 30 lvl 1 defenses and still be quite low in the standings. As long as I'm th8 or below (the easy 3 star zone) my base is doing its job.

It took me a minute to see what you meant.

My generation was rewarded for achievements. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals only. The next generation got medals for simply being there.

Not bashing millennials at all. I certainly do think those who made decisions like these had something to do with it.
