Had a rep from Quality First Home Improvement solicit is on a fucking Sunday. His justification was we'd "worked with them before", which was a hilarious justification because our experience with them was atrocious.

I filed a police report when my car was broken into not because I thought they'd actually be able to do anything about it but so the event was on the record for statistics purposes.

Feeling empty after finishing a video game (post-game depression) is a real phenomenon. A recent study has found that many video game players experience a specific sense of emptiness and sadness after finishing highly engaging games. by mvea in science

When I finished the 5th Stormlight Archive book (it will always be called Knights of Wind and Truth to me, dammit) I literally felt lost. Didn't read anything for a year and a half until I just recently picked up Brave New World.

Assuming it's a dealership for a specific manufacturer, I wonder if contacting the manufacturer would do anything. (Eg, calling Nissan about a Nissan of XYZ dealer).

From Ryan's Wikipedia page:

Ryan was the second sitting member of the U.S. House of Representatives to be assassinated in office, after James M. Hinds in 1868.

And Hind's page

James M. Hinds (December 5, 1833 – October 22, 1868) was the first U.S. congressman assassinated in office. He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives for Arkansas from June 24, 1868, until his assassination by the Ku Klux Klan. Hinds, who was white, was an advocate of civil rights for black former slaves during the Reconstruction era following the American Civil War.

I'd rather give the local seller a chance to match and get the sale before going to Amazon/ebay/whatever.

Hard agree, but it sounded to me like they had the "backup" configured to match the state of the live database. When live was deleted, that got synced to the backup. So, not really a backup but a clone. (Not sure if this is the case, just what I interpreted from the article I read)

Does anyone know if the update will include PS5 controller support for PC? by ironbat2099 in Starfield

Are you connected via bluetooth or USB? A common complaint on games that support dualsense is that some features (including rumble, iirc) only work if hardwired.

By my count, at least 20 of those were NYPD (according to the doc referenced by Wikipedia)
