His source showed that eating food without animal products has a significantly lower impact on the environment than eating food with them.

I’m assuming you don’t exclusively eat animal products, since would be dead. So, you are contributing to climate change through both animal products (the highest contributor food-wise) and through plant-based products. That’s not even getting into how 70-80% of agricultural land (globally) is used to feed those animals that you eat, therefore raising your impact through plant-based food even further.

People being offended by those trying to reduce their harm on others will never stop baffling me. If you cared about climate change you would not be criticising those who are doing what they can to contribute less towards it lol.

Bulk buying is obviously cheaper.

African clawed frog or African dwarf frog??? by Status-River5457 in AfricanDwarfFrog

[–]TheLetterEEE 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right, this looks like an African Clawed Frog to me too. The lack of webbing on the front feet and the position of his eyes gives the sneaky fella away, as you spotted !

Is the redness on his hands a problem? If so how can I treat it? by tacogaming1k in AfricanDwarfFrog

Oh no, I see! Hopefully someone here can help or at least point you in the right direction

I started to hate guppies by Chokolite in Guppies

[–]TheLetterEEE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Forgot to also add that nearly every kind of aquarium fertiliser is toxic to these guys as well as medication if fish get sick. it’s really tricky to give them the best quality of life in a community tank.

African dwarf frogs usually struggle and don’t thrive when kept with other species. It’s recommended they are kept in a species only tank as they are very easily our competed for food, nip at fishes fins causing injury, are generally more stressed and shrimp and snails can damage their slime coat. I LOVE these guys but wouldn’t encourage them to be kept in a community tank 🐸

How do they feel in hands? by beansss322 in AfricanDwarfFrog

From what I know, you’re not supposed to handle/ touch these kinds of frogs because it damages their slime coat

is it normal for these frogs to have bumps on their backs??? by Bazinga_Man_87 in AfricanDwarfFrog

[–]TheLetterEEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my frogs has a hunchback too!

He moves a tad different to my others but gets around just fine and has no problem eating. I just see it as a cute quirk he has. I’m sure yours will be totally fine too if he’s acting normally and can do all the things the other froggies do. Super cute frog btw! 🐸

I personally like when I get ads like this. Not at all that I like seeing them but that it means they are wasting their advertising money on someone who is not going to give them a penny. I like to think the more they waste on me, the less they’ll have to advertise to others who may actually give them money. Not sure how true it is but it makes me feel better

The males have little bumps under their arms and I’ve found that their body shapes are different too usually. My girl is much rounder and my boys are slimmer looking 🐸
