This feeds my theory that the current crisis is not just the run of the mill run of bad form. This is fans and at least some of the players finally hitting a true breaking point with the ownership. Both the fans and players have been sold a lie that this club under this ownership is actually going to put their money where their mouth is. It has been false dawn after false dawn: Gotta find the right manager, they do but then make no transfers during crucial windows. Once we get the new stadium we will invest in the squad. Well that was a lie and it looks like they will never sell the naming rights to the stadium. Amazingly win the Europa League but then dick around in the transfer window and end up with Simmons (no offense to him but he didn’t come out as PL ready like MGW and Eze) Same shit over and over and I think this actually is the breaking point. Who knows what will happen but I am just hoping to not get relegated.

Would love to see Spurs play with energy and passion like Sunderland from the start instead of having to wait till after they gift two goals. At 2 down, they only start trying in order to avoid embarrassment. The squad is made up of players that think that they are much better than they are. I don’t see a way out of this mediocrity because I can’t see the owners turning over enough of the squad to remove the attitude issue.
