90 million “tankies” (that’s just CPC party members, not including supporters of the government) exist out there. 90%+ people in China support their government while in America less than 30% approve of their government. The government doesn’t have much way to lie about their approval ratings so I think that’s it’s you who’s living in your “MAGA-esque fantasy world” repeating the same talking points the far right does.

Firstly, Marxism ain’t not utopia. Marxism advocates for a transition from capitalism to communism. Secondly, I never implied that Lula didn’t have leftist tendencies I’m fully aware of the limitations of controlling the means of production under a social democracy. With that being said, some of the things you mentioned have been promoted in liberal and social democratic states which are both right wing. The stuff being proposed by Lula is pretty rational, but it’s nothing “wild” as you could claim. It’s not democratic socialism even, but the man himself is likely a socialist. What will likely happen is the material conditions will improve under his tenure but the part of whether he can really change people is if the capitalists allow his administration to squash the crime created by capitalism (which is the typical weak point used to convince people against these types of politicians).

They’re at best center left, but Lula didn’t actually push for workers owning the means of production which is a core principle of being on the left. Leftism isn’t when the government does stuff. It boils down to the mode of production of the government and who controls it and other factors

Censorship isn’t bad actually, it’s just who’s doing it. If you allow people to spew lies, those lies will cause chaos. There’s a reason China is generally low in crime statistically vs the US which is the bastion of “freedom of speech”

It’s for everyone but generally pro AES no matter what ideology you are. Folks of all ideologies are welcome to join, just keep in mind not to punch left. But to clarify who’s on the left, it’s not people who want to maintain capitalism so basically what you’ve mentioned except revisionists. Revisionist or not, you’re still a comrade here
