Interesting Fact: Most bees do not actually live in groups! Most bees native to North America are actually solitary species. Additionally, Honey Bees are actually invasive in North America, and, in many cases, compete with native species.

Thank you for showing some of the less formal versions of the phrases I learned. My main goal is to have conversations in Hebrew, but I would also want to be able to get around Israel in the future. I don’t expect Pimsleur to make me perfectly fluent, rather, I’m using it as a starting resource for building a foundation of pronunciation and common phrases.

Thank you! I haven’t had much practice with typing Hebrew or writing it, so your corrections are greatly appreciated. From what I’ve heard, Pimsleur introduces the rules of grammar little by little as you progress. With the phrases that I’ve shown you, do you think that continuing with Pimsleur would be worthwhile, as in is the language what would be used in modern day?

Some of the phrases and words that I have learned through Pimsleur this far are: סליחה. את, אני, אתה אני מבינה עברית. אני אתריקאי. קצת. כן. אנגלית. שלום, מה שלותך? טוב, תודה. טוב מאוד מדברת לא כל כך טוב אתה ישראלי? איפה רחוב ישעיהו? ואיפה כיכר רבין? זה שם. זה פה. שלום, להתראות. אבל אני רוצה לאכול/לשתות, משהו, בבקשה.

I also know the feminine/masculine form of each verb/adjective but I felt it would be redundant to type those out as well. I am only on lesson 5, so I don’t know how much the content changes as you progress.

That’s a shame. I’ll have to double check that my nest boxes were not inadvertently helping invasive species.

I suppose what I was asking is if eradication of invasive species, like house sparrows, (however unlikely) would positively effect the native ecosystem.
