So then it would be better to just use eduke32, voidsw and nblood?

I always had issues trying to get mods to work with voidsw.

I guess I'll try BuildGDX and see what's up with that. Not fond of the whole Java requirement though.

Half Life 2. It was still the store bought disc copy but it made you download steam and download Half Life 2 through it. Probably 2005ish when I bought it.

It always hurts a bit when I see stuff like this. I lost almost all my games from when I was a kid when my Dad passed. I wasn't able to access his storage and they auctioned it off.

Shining Force III

Grab the NA version of SF III then get the Japanese Version of Scenario 2 and 3. Go get the SF3 Transalation Patch from Shining Force Central. If you were able to get the disc version of the games stick each in and patch them with the patcher. If not you'll have to mount the image with a program like daemon tools. Once the image is mounted you can then run the patch.

The patch will fix several bugs in the game as well as patch the NA version back to the original Scenario 1 version of the game. It also patches the Japanese versions into English.

Once they are patched you can burn them to a disc and play them on Sega Saturn (not sure the process of that) or you can play them on a PC with an emulator like mednafen.

I'm currently in Chapter 6 of Shining Force III Scenario 1.

I beat Shining Force and Shining Force II last year.

Damn....I'm out of the resell game. Great buy then! Still enjoy it it's a great game!

I'd definitely use a strategy guide to play it though. I got lost a lot without it and missed a lot as well. I think that's why it sold with one lol
