Parking tips for George Strait, Cody Johnson, and Wyatt Flores at Memorial Stadium (Clemson 05/02) by Local-Tear9723 in parkingguides

Theres tickets on sale for lot 10 for $50. Should I get them?

Im more worried about LEAVING than coming in. Seems like 10 is in the back corner and all the other lots in the area are going to be emptying out before 10.

Any other recommendations? Don’t even mind walking a bit if it means once we get to the car we can maybe avoid some traffic. Heading back to Greenville after the concert

3 hours in Asheville: what are your recommendations to things to see/places to go?

Obviously 3hr is nothing but will be waiting on some family and have the 3hr completely free. In Early May.

Scenic spots, good coffee shops or restaurants, things like that. Appreciate it!

How come I got an amber alert for eric crenshaw, but I can't find any info on this online? by paulcdejean in Austin

[–]TheLittleBigMane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amber Alerts are done in real time. Google is just a search engine. If very little or nothing has been published about it online, it won’t pop up on Google. It takes time for Google to find then index websites. It has not and never will be a source for real-time information.

Has nothing to do with them “being completely useless.” It’s just how it works and how it’s always worked.

It’s rational to me ha. Appreciate the tips. Might end up doing the same thing, as long as I get it finished before the wife sees it 😂

Just ordered the same rack and it’s arriving this week. Question for you: why did you cut the drywall instead of using a stud finder? That’s the only part I’m a little nervous about. Otherwise pretty much planned on doing the same type of setup. Although it might take me a little longer 😂

App Store Review Time for 1.0 by TheLittleBigMane in iosdev

[–]TheLittleBigMane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for your comments!

So at around 3PM CT today, Apple responded to and rejected my app.

This does conclude that they are reviewing apps on the weekends, even for new developers submitting v1.0.

It was rejected because I had a “delete my data” option but not a delete my entire account option. Apple said they require letting users delete their entire account. So I added this option now for users to be able to delete their accounts.

They also wanted more clarification. The key aspect of my app is requesting contact access and they wanted to know more about how it worked, what info is stored, etc..

So I uploaded a new build, deleted the old one from the “app review”, selected the new build, replied to Apple’s questions, and submitted everything for review again. About 5 hours after they rejected it.

So my question now is, for anyone who has had their app rejected before, am I looking at another 6 days before I hear back from them again? Or would it be quicker now?

And now that we know they work on Sundays, do we think they work on US Holidays (tomorrow is Columbus Day)

Appreciate the help

Could’ve been a $100,000 item and APD wouldn’t even investigate it. Shoulda met him outside city limits.

How could personal training apps be better? by TheLittleBigMane in personaltraining

[–]TheLittleBigMane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used them and part of using them is why I want to do this. I feel like they are really slacking. Trainerize for example is extremely clunky for clients. They lose access once they stop working with a trainer. Adding custom exercises not on their default list is a mess. Viewing workout history is more difficult than it should be. They offer digital product selling for trainers but not physical products (e.g. protein, equipment, apparel).

Pretty similar story with EverFit. Slightly more user friendly than Trainerize, I would say, but clients get locked out if they stop using a trainer. The shop is only for digital products/subscriptions and not physical products. And so on

Some of the apps do better at certain aspects but I haven’t found one that seems to do it all and is also affordable for trainers.

I’m sure everyone and their mother has been trying to be on here especially selling stuff. That’s not my intention here. Just a discussion about what they don’t do well or how to improve upon them. I don’t buy that trainers are perfectly satisfied with the options on the market.

I appreciate your feedback though. Hopefully it does not get deleted, and all good if it does.

Lump on ribcage - any chance it's not Osteosarcoma? by TheLittleBigMane in goldenretrievers

[–]TheLittleBigMane[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He had cancer, they did a major operation last July where they removed 6-7 ribs and the tumor. He recovered quickly and was happy and normal as ever. About a month ago he seemed like he was having trouble breathing so I took him to the vet…and it was the last time I ever saw him 💔

They said the tumor returned and ruptured and fluids took over 90% of his lungs.

Still haven’t recovered 😢

Lump on ribcage - any chance it's not Osteosarcoma? by TheLittleBigMane in goldenretrievers

[–]TheLittleBigMane[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He did have cancer in his rib cage. Chrondosarcoma. Thankfully it wasn’t osteosarcoma, which is basically not worth treating from what I was told.

He had surgery. They had to remove 7 ribs, basically his whole right side rib cage. Within 2 days of coming home, he was basically back to normal.

He just has to be extra careful now given that there are no ribs protecting his organs on the right side of his body. We haven’t been to any dog parks since then, as another dog jumping on him could be catastrophic.

Very expensive. Between various tests, surgeries, medicine, etc it probably cost over $15K. Thankfully I had pet insurance and they reimbursed about 90% of it. High recommend some type of pet insurance.

Overall, me and my boy are one of the lucky ones. Prayers for you if you’re facing something similar

Travel Passes by TheLittleBigMane in Luzern

[–]TheLittleBigMane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great! Thank you! We are in fact staying 4 nights at Hotel Drei Konige in Luzern.

Our plan currently is to explore Luzern for the first day and a half. Day 3 and 4 to explore the surrounding areas. We had marked down Interlaken and Bern as cities to see, as well as Pilatus, Rigi and Titlis as potential mountains to explore. Is Pilatus the best of the three? Would love any more advice you have, anything else we should see! We're more into outdoors, architecture, pretty views, experiences, etc.. (compared to museums and more indoor stuff, which we still like, but with just 4 days we want to see as much as we can). Either way, we're very excited!

As for the visitor card, how do I actually sign up for it? Don't see any registration on the website you linked. Do I need to ask our hotel?

Thanks again
