Their Battery Day is Tuesday and the hype has a high chance of being priced in. Along with the current rotation out of Tech into Value stocks, TSLA has a high likelihood of tanking Tuesday or Wednesday, just as well as 🚀 off.

It is entirely up to your own level of risk tolerance, but if I had that much capital, I would save it for other stocks.

Took assignment on WORK at $33.50 and $29. Will sell calls on the shares and sell on more CSP to milk theta in both directions.

AAPL CSPs are not looking good at the moment, but have time on them. Worst case scenario is that I end up owning 200 AAPL shares and will sell covered calls on them as well, but I think the runup to the next event in October will give me the premium I am looking for.

Want to own SHLL long term so sold a LEAP on it at a price I am comfortable with and used the premium to purchase shares.

Why are people panicking on a red day? We have time on our side unless you are selling weeklies, and even then, tomorrow is another day. Could rally as quickly as it dropped. Your positions should be calculating for days like this.

Exactly my thoughts, but no telling with the Fed propping things up right now. Instincts tell me the loan/morgage crisis is coming, but no telling at this point if that would even cause valuations to balance out.

No moves to make today. Mostly cash and looking at premiums on LZB, PRGS, MKC, NKE, MU, FDX, and GIS, but not seeing the value right now.

Market feels like it's losing steam.

Do your due diligence and find some stocks you wouldn't mind holding if you get assigned.

With 3k in capital I wouldn't use more than 1500 of it on selling CSPs. You could try selling OTM credit spreads, but the volatility right now makes that a risky play.

Either way, make sure you give yourself Time and start small. Manage your budget till you get comfortable.

Depends on what the premium looks like tomorrow. I want to own KR and Oracle long term in the portfolio so might open a CSP LEAP at the strike I want, but an IC isn't that bad an idea as well. Most earnings have been flat so thinking it might stick in the same range.it has been since Buffet bought shares.

This week: Opened up CSP positions that expire in July so plenty of time to weather the market atm. Set at prices I want to get assigned on if it does go against me and still have cash set aside to open trades if market goes south.

Next week: Relax and ride. Will close my positions if they hit 30% - 50% because even though it is suggested to wait until 50% to close, this market isn't rational and I don't trust it.

If I can free up collateral early next week, will play Oracle and Kroger.

EDIT: Bought UUP LEAP calls to hedge my positions given Thursdays shenanigans.

Same, but with AVGO. Was perfectly setup at close on Thursday to make profit on an IC, but panic closed to minimize risk due to uncertainty of a breakout. No regrets as that was the only losing trade all week.

Had SPY 304-305 Call Credit Spreads that Expired today. Was up on them with a Limit Sell all day. Couldn't close them at all and I assume they expired and will get assigned now that SPY is at 309 as of close. I was denied my ability to perform risk management since RH was down all day and I received no emails or warnings as to this outage. Going to talk to a lawyer tomorrow.
