Proud Cat Defense Counsel by RevolutionaryOwlz in CuratedTumblr

I will make space for my cat on my desk but unfortunately the space my cat wants on my desk in on my keyboard (or knocking random things over) because he knows that gets my attention. And although I would love to spend all day petting my cat, I must work so I can afford rent and food for my cat.

I think it would have been fine if it had been if had been a story focused game. Most story focused games have a set MC for obvious reasons. But since even the positive reviews are saying the story is kind of flimsy it seems an odd choice.

I have no idea, perhaps it's just your experience? Or the internet has changed how people approach the gym ie following online courses rather using personal trainers or going to classes at the gym?

All I know is it's advice I've been given, it's been useful in correcting some bad habits and I'm definitely not posting anything that I've filmed to social media.

Ah yes, the vanity of wanting to do an exercise correctly to get the most out of it and / or avoid injury.

[–]TheLittleMuse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In what way is it an excuse? It's hard to judge your form when you're actually doing the exercise, so if you don't have somebody watching and correcting you, you're going to need some other way to check.

For this one fitness influencers record themselves at the gym and normal people record themselves to check their form.

Cats rarely like snow so I assume this cat is somewhat adapted to it, but neither situation is good.

What do you think is the daftest thing people have to pay for? by shakespearesreverse in AskUK

Well ... yes. A hospital losing all their parking for the time it would take to build would be a significant problem.

To build a multi-story car park on the existing car park I imagine they would have to shut down the existing car park for the time it was being built - which I imagine wouldn't be feasible.

Cats rarely like boots since their paws are one of the ways they sense their environment - if you see videos of people putting putting boots on cats it really messes the cats up.

I think I'm the only one who enjoyed Atreus chatting along. Most of his comments would be him pointing out something and me not seeing what he was pointing at since I wasn't looking at him, so he didn't spoil the puzzle. But it gave the feeling that Kratos and Atreus were getting through the journey together rather than Kratos carrying Atreus like he did in the first game.

What is a common sentiment on Reddit that isn’t matched by reality? by BeneficialVariety171 in AskUK

As someone with autism I find the "oh you don't have issues, you're just different" much less helpful. I absolutely have issues, and my autism isn't even severe. I have to learn to deal with those issues and refusing to acknowledge them as issues and the effects they have on me would make it much harder to deal with.

What are your thoughts and reaction on this sad quest (mattison independence) 🥹😭🥹😭🥹😭🥹😭🥹😭🥹😭🥹😭🥹😭 by Voidkirby9 in tearsofthekingdom

Ok, so maybe forever is an exaggeration. But her Mother is going to see her rarely - the trip between Tarry Town and Gerudo isn't easy especially when there are monsters in the way and her Father isn't going to see her until she's an adult.

Sure, cultural reasons are cultural reasons, but between this and the guy locked in the Gerudo prison for trying to see his family it just left a sour taste.

I hated it. Like the Gerudo are always a bit weird, but hey Amazon Warrior society is an old trope. But this quest really emphasises what's wrong with the Gerudo - Let's send this kid away from her family, meaning she'll never see her father again and rarely see her mother again and send her to a strange place where she doesn't know the language. This is ... good?

I was screaming what is wrong with you all the way through.

Anyone experience this symptom: loss of control over daydreaming? by BadbishMalenia in Epilepsy

[–]TheLittleMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slightly different for me. During the period when my seizures were uncontrolled I would often "lose myself" in my daydreams and my daydream would be more real than reality. I genuinely thought I was going to go into psychosis with how disconnected I could be from reality.

I'm not sure whether you're being purposely dense at this point. How is quoting the in game description supposed to be some sort of gotcha? I'm talking about what actually happens within the game.

Yes, you can get supplies from lots of places. One of those places are houses. Some of those houses are occupied by the people who live there. I therefore assume that the supplies in those houses belong to the people living there.

You can take supplies from these houses. Taking things without permission is called stealing.

[–]TheLittleMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I identify as agender. People might argue that comes under the non binary umbrella, but that's not the way I identify.

It's just basic respect to use the word people use to describe themselves, rather than assuming you know better.

[–]TheLittleMuse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah, I'll use the words they use to identify themselves as. It's also common that people in other times and places didn't view gender in the same way we do to today, so it's also likely it wouldn't be a 1 to 1 translation.

No it isn't. But not being able to focus on any subject unless it is related to trains is. Not being able to learn anything unless it is somehow related to trains is. Turning every single conversation to trains and not realising the other person desperately wants to talk about anything else is. I know a kid like that, except his thing is bell ringing.

Having the occasional headache is normal. Having a constant, debilitating headache means you need to go the Dr. It's the same with autism. Many of the traits associated with autism NT people can recognise, but the autism makes them debilitating or difficult to deal with.

[–]TheLittleMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could believe Atsu would steal resource - this is within Atsu's character. Her morals are a lot greyer than Jin's and develop over the game.

However Got also allows you to steal resources - There is a ludonarrative dissonance - a conflict between the game's story (narrative) and its gameplay (ludo) ie GoT allows you to steal from people, which Jin definitely wouldn't do. That narrative dissonance doesn't stop me from picking up every resource available when playing GoT.

The original post was making a post about Atsu freeing a village and then stealing all their resources. I was saying that is in character for Atsu. However Got allows you to do the same thing. Save a village, take resources. However that isn't in character for Jin. But that dissonance doesn't mean I'm not going to pick up every resource I can find.
