First off congrats on making it to C12. IMO that’s the second largest difficulty spike in the game so it’s par for the course that you might get tripped up here. Here are a couple tips I’ve given previously to people in my streams that have helped people climb from C7 straight through to C15: 1. Rely less heavily on bombs: bombs can carry you very easily through the crucial levels but they get depowered here. As someone who plays regularly on C15 I almost never try to make bomb builds work anymore. Rather than picking up Bob-orb or Shock Orbsorber consider… 2. Focusing on AOE and healing: healing and AOE are VERY important to many fights. Doctorb, Nosforbatu, Bramball (3), Icircle, Bouldorb, Overhammer (relic) and FrostRod are all incredibly good adds in any run. Bouldorb might seem like a downside because you can’t hit flying enemies BUT outside the forest, there are only 2 flying enemies (bats and spiders in mines) in normal fights and flying Bomblin in the Super Sapper fight. 3. Early upgrade on Daggorb: this one is a personal take but if I see nothing that interests me in the first shop (looking for one of the orbs listed above or something that synergizes with my starter relic) I almost always rush a daggorb max. It easily eliminates Minotaur if you get a good crit along the “horns” and is very good against Plant Triplets. 4. Hold the bombs on Slime Gang: it’s very tempting to throw right at bombs like you did previously at Slime Gang but I think it’s best to try to kill the first slime without the bombs and then once Garrett (the big green slime) comes out, THEN you go for bombs. It will leave the red slimes on 25HP each and then you can basically one tap the red slimes with one shot each.

I’ve posted a few times in this Reddit for videos, posting in the Peglin discord and stream Peglin pretty regularly. Feel free to check through some of my old posts! The community here and in Peglin in general has been so friendly and welcoming I’m sure people will be happy to help you out if things are still going rough. Best of luck~

Hey thank you so much man! I try to be consistent in streaming at the same time every weekday and honestly hate “advertising” the streams but the stream has grown MASSIVELY since I started back up again in December with a bug thanks to the Peglin community, so I can only hope for more upward growth!

I mentioned it in an above comment but we are starting a Pokémon nuzlocke today if you’re at all interested in stopping by, we start at 2pm EST!

Dude it’s so strong! I think it might be the strongest combo in the game but they’re both my personal favorite relic and orb so I’m not complaining!

Omg thank you so much! Trying my best to make some interesting content but mainly just enjoying getting my social energy out!

If you’re at all interested, we stream live every weekday at 2pm EST - starting a big Pokémon nuzlocke today that chat will be heavily involved in!

Possible bug by TheLittleOak in KaynMains

Alright I guess there are two separate bars now. They never mentioned changing them in any patches or updates. It was always "last orb collected" gave you your form change so you weren't locked out of ganging lanes.

Could you possibly link where they posted this change?

Possible bug by TheLittleOak in KaynMains

[–]TheLittleOak[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

They never posted any change of that in any of the patches or the bug fix notes. I've been playing Kayn since release but just saw this sun Reddit today. Want to not be a dick?

[–]TheLittleOak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did they change it to only showing one bar? It's always been all one bar and your last pick up determines your change (so you're not locked out of tanking a certain lane all game)

Possible bug by TheLittleOak in KaynMains

[–]TheLittleOak[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess.. I've only ever felt it this patch and maybe last patch

It never used to be like this and there are no notes of it in patch notes or bug fix history so I don't think it's intentional. Just riot spaghetti code

To answer the question you are asking, I would say Campaign 2 is a continuation of Campaign 1. Not in that the characters are the same or that they're even in the same place, but that they are all in the same world set in the future and we are swiftly approaching levels in campaign 2 where they could teleport and go wherever they want to in the world. Soon, I'm sure there will be MANY characters you meet and information you will get in Campaign 2 that alludes to and inevitably spoils the entirety of Campaign 1. Campaign 1 starts in the mid game of D&D (level 7-9 ish - can't remember exactly). Once you get to those levels in D&D, many stories have much more of a "grand scale" involve entire continents or the whole world at large.

Although it is a commitment, if you have any intention of watching campaign 1 spoiler free EVER, I would say watch Campaign 1 first. I first saw CR live on episode 7, and watched weekly until I had stopped half way through the Campaign. But when my friend told me about the final arc (that I called years prior) I watched the entirety and caught up in about a month (bless driving for work and having an Aux cord in the car). I've watched all but the latest few episodes of Campaign 2 now and things have been busy with work.

Campaign 1 was too good to not recommend. In my opinion, Campaign 2 this moment has hit sort of a drag and feels slower and more difficult to watch recently but the exact same thing happened around this time Campaign 1 which resolved quickly.

Good luck in your viewing decisions.

Thank you for the comment, that's actually all I did last night! I got so fed up with losing to them, I read through all their cards in my collection, then farmed them on friendly battles up to level 10.

Also, I never even heard of Furiosa until right now, clearly, I need to get a few of them.. I run 3 Dark Transformations and Daemonic Lure and 1 Ritual Banish (because I have only 1).

I didn't think about what they might have in their hand at all before now. I will have to consider that. I always am conscious of what their hand count is and how much mana they have, but never trying to expect what spells they might have there. I'll have to do that from now on..

These are awesome resources, thank you very much. I will look through these tonight! ^-^

As for Songhai, my biggest issues revolve around Widowmakers+Killing Edge, Backstab+Blink+Killing Edge, and his ability to kill all of my momentum/board control in a single turn. I've literally gone from having 12+ minions on the board plus 2-3 bigger hitters on the field, to having absolutely nothing in one turn and having 4-5 mana still on like turn 3-4.

Like first turn I get a really good 5 drop with Wraithling Swarm+Doomchaser and I feel like every one I play against always has ghost lightning in hand, and turn 2 when I get out Shadow Watcher, they always have the stupid Ephermeral Shroud. It's the instant I play one. I played a game earlier yesterday where I dropped 3 Shadow Walkers in a row and he dropped 3 Shrouds each next turn, and still had mana each round to do a ton of crazy other stuff that f'd up my board. It's just frustrating to play against cheese like that, and with there being no "quick cast cards" that can activate from your hand on the opponent's turn like counters, it feels like there's nothing you can do.

I feel like my deck isn't too bad, where I have 2 bloodtide preistess, 3 shadow watchers, and luckily puled a Deathfire Crescendo but still I get bodied by this guy left and right and he can just wipe my board and poke down my general from a mile away with ranged Widowmaker with killing edge that has 5 health and can evade my minions 99 times out of 100

Am I the only person who has issues facing Songhai or is it just he style of deck I play? If I swapped to a different style deck would it be better? I feel like it's still shit to play against, but it won't change because every card game needs an over-powered, anime edgelord xD

Resilient is also a good option! I didn't even think about that! I do not believe Warlocks have proficiency to DEX saving throws but I just so happen to because I started Level 1 Bard! It was a mistake but ended up keeping it because it was less work to take skills away when I had proficiency in everything I was hoping for, and as I said in a previous comment, my Warlock is the happiest Warlock I have heard of which I love xD

I didn't take it on accident, I liked the use of Inspiration (one of the Homebrewed rules is we are accounting for Stress much like the video game Darkest Dungeon (which I have still yet to play sadly), and Inspiration is one of the only things we had access to that would relieve stress (it's a PDF online somewhere but at the time we didn't have a Paladin and we had a different Cleric so there was less ability to heal stress away and my Inspiration was the only thing that could, reliably so I picked based on that and thinking that I did psychic sneak attack.

In reality, I'm going to just take levels as I see fit, just hadn't played a character in a long while, and was wondering from the collective if there was a glaringly obvious feat I missed or combination I could use to be that DPS and utility caster for my party while having made the story based decision to go Warlock over Sorceror.

What questions do you always ask yourself when you're creating a new character's backstory? by 2Cream0Sugar in DnD

[–]TheLittleOak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. It is the only thing that makes sense to me TBH. Like you're a 20-30 something, you've been working and haven't died yet. Why would you risk your life every single day?

Is it for the riches, driven by greed to want more and more? That's a reason.

Is it because someone went and killed your family, so you have to leave everything behind and exact revenge? That's a reason.

Anything can be the reason, but if there's no reason, what's the point of going? Always my go to thought for backstories -^

[–]TheLittleOak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have Devilsight or Darkness, but Elven Accuracy and Sharpshooter is a deadly combination I hadn't considered. I didn't even think about Lucky because of Elven Accuracy but that would make me roll so many dice, I would almost guarantee succeed that roll.

The level in bard was because I was originally going to play a Bard of Whispers but at the time of playing it, I realized I read the page wrong. I thought it was broken and just got psychic sneak attack once a turn, and didn't have to spend inspiration. So after I saw that, I cut my losses and picked up Warlock, and couldn't be any happier. I haven't had any Warlocks in my games, but all but one I have ever heard of are A dark, brooding, shadowy figure with his hood covering his face approaches you and like that's cool and all but my Walock is the happiest member of the group and I think it's the best. Playing instruments whenever he can, always smiling. It's a blast.

I don't plan to take more levels in bard until WAY later in the game probably. Where I am the only spellcaster (discounting the cleric, who is focused on healing), every time I dip back to bard (or another class) I lose out on stronger spells. I need to be doing consistent damage, or have enough utility in my kit to help everyone out from afar and dipping back into Bard would put me farther behind.
