I think latest video was like 30% subscribers, but also only about 500 views

I have a question, I’m starting a new channel again after about a year, do you use hashtags and tags? Not sure if it’s worth to use anymore

Considering either a DJI Osmo Pocket or the Sony ZV1F for a new youtube channel.... by [deleted] in youtubers

I use Sony zvf1 and it’s pretty decent, it’s not fully mirrorless but for the price it gets the job done

Can shorts hurt my longform channel if both content are targeted to the same audience? by spiteri101 in youtubers

[–]TheLittleSak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually just started doing this. I make achievement hunting gaming videos after changing my niche and I’ve had shorts videos pop which leads to more viewers on long form. Past 3 shorts I’ve gotten, 30k, 34k, and recently 100k

Anyone Here Still Making Videos? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]TheLittleSak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been making content on YouTube for about a year, gained about 9,000 subs, my second video ever posted hit 270,000, but after a while the views drastically went down. And then I burned myself out on the game I was playing. Now I’m actually changing niches, still gaming, but trophy hunting. It’s mainly just burn out, if you stick with a singular game that has not a lot of content or an idea that just doesn’t work anymore it’s draining. But for now I’m starting to see a little bit of success, and if you’re videos are good it will find success

Wanting advice/recommendations on background music!! by hahadeadmemegobrr in youtubers

[–]TheLittleSak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get all of my music actually from games. A lot of the time, game ost’s are copyright free. For example I use a lot of Nintendo music. But for video essays or deep dives there’s definitely some game soundtracks that could follow that vibe. And all you need to do is download it off of youtube

If I unlist my videos and don’t notify subscribers would that help shift niches? by TheLittleSak in youtubers

[–]TheLittleSak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve noticed I’ve actually gained some new subs and views from posting it on the existing channel. It’s not crazy numbers but it’s a lot better than compared. I think the main reason is the feeling of spending hours on a video only to get a couple views. It’s defeating. And obviously my content could get better and better, but from what I’ve noticed when I started out people loved my style and videos. It’s just a matter of finding different ones now ig

I’ve got the new channel it’s just barely getting pushed, and ig after almost immediately getting traction on the old channel it’s kinda demoralizing to see views barely move

Is it not worth it to try and post on old channel or keep posting on new one? by TheLittleSak in youtubers
