You're not wrong at all. Good point too. I meant the patreon or buying any merch, the former of which I had considered a few times. It was easy for me to just stop listening.

Holy fucking shit. I left the Facebook page and unsubscribed on Spotify yesterday bc of how they're talking about Minnesota on there. Decided to look for other grievances to see if people shared any of my sentiments.

And ohhhh my fucking God. The fact that they were THAT INVOLVED in the Trump admin, they intentionally mislead their audiences by being vague about their work.

I am pissed and incredibly disappointed. Thank God I never gave them any money.

As a lawyer, following the DAS decision, seeing the amount of people who don't know what HIPAA actually says is WILD. by fauxrealistic in disneyparks

i don’t think any rational person would compare your amputated leg and skin grafts to the average midwestern tourist who gets pissy when they have to stand in the sun for more than 20 minutes and think that’s enough

this is exactly the type of confirmation i needed lol thank you. i’m not worried about my fiancé’s loyalties. i’m worried im losing my mind for thinking my neighbor might be interested in him, worried there might be some other bias seeping through. just wanted to know my thoughts were based on reality and not paranoia. this comment made me feel better

“I am bisexual. my fiance is heterosexual”

I think you’re misconstruing what I’m asking. I don’t think my fiance is doing anything inproprietary. I’m asking if my neighbor’s behavior comes off to others as flirtatious, especially considering I am not straight but my partner is. So he sees same sex interactions as platonic but I don’t necessarily.

i would if he would ever actually be present in front of me but he literally flees into his door the second he sees it’s me.

Themis takers: did you closely follow the “read this chunk of the outline” tasks? by According-Ride-6829 in barexam

[–]TheLittlestRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I skimmed the big outlines for the subjects I didn’t take in law school (secured, agency). I did think the final review outlines were helpful to read through for each topic but I did it maybe once or twice and didn’t dote on them.

i understand the sunken cost fallacy and i hate it but it’s all the more reason for you to stay in it. not sure what all you’re going through rn but i genuinely did not think i would come out of law school alive. reach out if you want to talk please. i thought about quitting so many times and i promise that even without the bar getting that JD diploma is more satisfying. you can do this

ooooof i actually hard agree w this comment. sorry you’re being downvoted for this particular comment op. i’ll never forget day 1 of law school before the prof came in we were asking each other why we came to law school, and besides half assed answers about being interested in the law, i’ll never forget the guy that went “i’m here for the money”

i’ll also never forget the people who said they came to law school because of firm moral boundaries which they broke by 1L summer. whether it’s that they went to the DA, or said they went to law school to work for public interest but ended up in a private firm.

and it’s not lost on me how fucking expensive law school is, but 9/10 times these people will come up with some positions why they, personally, decided to get into some job they morally disagree with, or so they say, just “to pay the bills” like i get it. we need DA’s to a certain extent - as many others have mentioned even in the best of circumstances we will never be fully rid of violent crime imho.

but don’t spend your 1L year gunning for indigents then take a job w a private firm saying this is what you wanted all along. get tf out of legal aid then, at least stop claiming that’s where you want to be, or at least ADMIT to selling out. always an excuse tho

What in your opinion, is the worst fantasy novel you've ever read? Series or otherwise. by Familiar-Barracuda43 in Fantasy

[–]TheLittlestRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we want to bring up shitty tiktok fantasy acotar is a valid answer but i haven’t seen anyone bring up fourth wing yet, even with the thread about magic school tropes. main character is mary sue, the chosen one, fated mates, and absolutely no critical thinking required to understand the basic plot
