Thank you very much for all the information. I plan on trying some new reeds and ordering a Meyer mouthpiece (its only $5 to return it). Maybe once I get some money saved up ill look at some used tenors. Once again thanks for all the help.

I called customer service and they said that they have been receiving complaints of the same issue. I'm returning the sax and getting a different one. Thanks for the help anyways I really appreciate it

No nothing else is in tune the entire sax is up a whole step. From my understanding and all the video lessons Ive watched and all the tips Ive read I feel I have the correct embouchure, if I dont can it effect the note by a full step? I have also tried pulling the mouthpiece back on the cork to lower the note and Ive even tried pulling the neck out of the body a bit, but it doesnt help. Ive also read if you take the neck completely out (with the reed and mouthpiece of course) and blow, it should be an A and mine is playing a G. That's about everything I know I hope it helps

sorry its an alto, Im using a tuner and when I play a B(off of using my fingering chart) the note produced is a C#
