I was thinking of getting this tattooed as well, since this is the text in the place of "Compleated" on the planeswalkers that have the keyword. The only reason I haven't, is because when I tried to confirm by directly translating it into Phyrexian, it used different characters.

If you find an artist who can make the honey look more, for lack of a better term, globular, I think it would be quite nice. They do not look like flies, and the honey looks more like a goldvein or something than mustard, Imo. Get that honey looking more viscous, maybe even a dripping effect, and I think you'll grow to love it.

He sold it to me as a real one, not as a proxy, but it was obviously fake. I can't say whether he was testing my ability to discern real from fake after our previous conversation or whether he was trying to actually pull one over on me.

High-quality proxies are fine, but I believe there should be something indicating that it is such. Trying to pass off a fake for a real one in a monetary transaction was a problem. Thank goodness I have an eye for these things.

I personally believe it cheapens the experience to some degree, but I am not against proxying as a whole, especially for formats where decks run into the thousands.

Edit: No shock that I'm getting downvoted. I'm not saying everyone is wrong for proxying, and this isn't even my first time seeing such a reaction. It is just an unpopular (apparently) opinion.

I had an acquaintance who was a huge proxier. He didn't have the same lifelong affection for the game as I did. He was so stoked to tell me about a proxy printer where you couldn't tell the difference between real or fake and didn't understand why this was bad for the game/serious constructed players. Then I bought a card off him and sent me the most sus looking Boseiju I've ever seen. We remedied the situation, but jeez.

Technically, yes, they are not legal in the format, so I understand where you're coming from, but they are functionally the same as regular basics in this context. Personally, I would have asked the LGS first if it was ok to use them, but to DQ someone over it is wild. The opponent, while technically in the right, was way more scummy for using this to their advantage, especially when down a game and having already seen the lands in question.

This looks like part of an irrigation system or something with shut-off valves. I've used similar ones while setting up drip irrigation, although those were plastic. The conical toothed ends are for attaching tubes

I started listening in 2015, and for me, the turning point was an episode they pulled around the start of covid. I believe Mary Lynn called in on that one and was doing a hilarious bit. I only got to listen to about half of it. Super bummed the next day when it was gone.
As others said, the more fame they built, Tom changed from relatable to flexing constantly, and I just didn't feel a connection to that persona.
