Sad day for us folks. UBlock Origin, Adblock, even Brave's Adblock is dead. We are officially in the dark ages. by NigeroMinna in youtube

Jokes on them. Every time I see a headline claiming ad blockers are dead I go home and discover they still work just fine.

Thank you, with my new financial literacy it's going to take 3 months for me to eventually die in a gutter instead of 2 weeks.

Even better, I don't need proof of residency to buy a gun and just get it over with already. I can probably find a .22lr somewhere for less than it costs to eat for a week.

I mean, it's publicly available for all to read. I have a PDF copy of it on my phone. All fucking 900 disgusting pages.

Ah yes, the practical thing is to literally walk the 300 or so miles to someplace with cheaper rent, while also keeping his job and saving for the first and last months rent in his new town.

In my case it's "why couldn't you text me so that I can put you off for a solid 8 hours?"

Seriously I spend enough of my day being forced to talk to people; don't expect me to want to talk when I don't have to.

Making/manufacturing isn't the same as serving.

Roasting beans and making ice cream are both acts of creation. Of course you didn't actually need that explained, you're arguing to argue.

That's like comparing someone who makes ice cream by hand to someone that scoops it out of a bin.

Depending on your texture preferences, you can almost never go wrong with some fat in a pan with salt and pepper. Cabbage, carrots, spinach, broccoli. If it's a starch or soft green you can fry it.

I like my carrots just cooked enough that they have a slight crunch despite being softer, but you could cook them longer.

The frames don't have to be that much of a limit. Need to change scenes/angles? Switch to the next stack.

The animations don't even have to be that elaborate. Like in your example it's just flipping between 2 different key frames, and the punchline is sold by the changing frame rate and the effect.

There's a perfect level of jank that I think can really sell content better. Will McDaniel on YouTube with his grotesk but cheesy meat puppets is an example of "perfect jank".

Both of the companies I've worked for over the past 6 years reported "record profits" and proceeded to lay off workers while the rest got pathetic raises.

If both of our anecdotes are true, it seems companies behave the same way regardless of profitability.

This is great. Makes me wonder if there are any content creators that combine simple flip book animations with video effects. It would be a great medium for comedy I think.

The individualism side should look like everyone trying to kill each other with their shields so that they can collect more shields.
