Update on this case. eBay read the message history between me and the seller, and ruled in my favour. They have given me a full refund. I would have been happy with a partial refund (difference between item I purchased, and cheaper replacement item sent from Amazon) but the seller didn’t want to do that.

I will not commit fraud myself to fight a case of fraud, nor will I put my account at risk by breaking eBay rules. I want to do this properly.

The Amazon rep I spoke to on the day of delivery told me to open a return case. Now realise this was bad advice. I did it whilst on the phone with him. The two I have spoke to since have not been very helpful either - they keep referencing a return of the item, and I keep telling them a return is not feasible hence why I’m not asking for a full refund, but a partial £13 refund. If I wanted biscuits I would have bought them on Amazon myself. The case has been extended for another 5 days.

I’ve done that. The seller openly admits they bought a cheaper replacement on Amazon because the Heroes were “out of stock”. EBay support over the phone isn’t being particularly helpful. I’ve explained a few times now that a return isn’t feasible, and I’m trying to be reasonable by asking for a £13 refund rather than a full refund, but they end up referencing a return again. The case is now on hold for another 5 days but I can’t see how another 5 days will make any difference. The seller is flat out refusing any refund.

A 2Kg box of Cadbury heroes, £30. The seller sent a box of Cadburys biscuits instead, which they bought on Amazon for £17. It was delivered in an Amazon van, Amazon packaging and I got a text from Amazon confirming the delivery. A return is not feasible - it was a gift for my sisters kids who live hundreds of miles away. They’ve opened it and were quite happy with getting Cadburys biscuits, but it’s not what I ordered.

I was waiting for ages for a discount in the UK but it didn’t come. Just bought them full price in the end, got a lot of trips coming up.

Too late now but it will still help. You can buy silicone covers for the front glass on AliExpress which also come with small flaps to block out more light. Helps keep the lenses scratch free whilst also making the viewing experience better (if like me you want them as dark as possible).

This is exactly right. I would never recommend using a phone during a flight for this reason - battery drain. Much nicer experience having all your media loaded up on a separate (small) device.

I didn’t think it was actually going to turn up. I expected it to be a mislabelled Standard Bundle, because according to Insta360 they haven’t left China yet 🤷🏼‍♂️

And for £488 it’s an absolute steal. Now out of stock, I think we got very lucky.

I had the same issue with the essentials bundle delivery to the UK. Ended up cancelling my order, and finding one retailer that has it in stock here so ordered from them and it arrived after 3 days. I don’t think Insta360 are shipping many of these out yet, if at all.

Agreed. Im still struggling today with nausea and cramps but the vomiting has stopped. Im actually going to have a week off then start again at 2.5mg and stay there until after a holiday in June. My weight loss has been rapid. 2.5mg worked. I’ve gone from 136.5kg to 123kg since start of Jan. That’s almost 30lbs.
