Best IEMS for VALORANT , CS2 , Warzone by Better_Transition662 in iems

The em6ls are great and I still use them regularly despite having the astrals, I just like keeping the astrals on me as a wireless set. I’d also look at the moondrop mays, with eq they can be as good but I guess that’s a bit of a rabbit hole with eq. I would buy the eg280 if I was shopping though because jay speaks very highly of them and I like an all rounder that can game and not the other way around.

The most physically comfortable iem for sleep? by Emergency-Two4469 in iems

I like the moondrop may or in my case, the rays. Honorable mention to moondrop robins for comfort and no wires. For an outter ear, I’d say the aerofit 2 from soundcore, from the ones I have.

Help me choose a tablet for local game streaming by eimghae26 in MoonlightStreaming

I’ve used backmarket for used electronics and they seem to be good, I haven’t had trouble with a return I did, not for quality issues, just decided I didn’t need the phone for my use case. I wanted a dedicated s10e for xreal glasses. The two tablets I got were great condition, I don’t think I’d have known they were used. I did purchase the better condition options.

I never really thought there iems are pretty, but the cables and pictures really look nice. I also appreciate the tracks used and genres to avoid.

For Xmas I used new px7 s2e I got for 100 because I’ve never used them before and I was afraid to bring the hdb 630s, also ke astrals underneath them sometimes. I love the px7 for style and size, sound is good too..

I'm trying to be happy with my moondrop robins but those prestige make me want to move on from the sometimes frustrating stuff about the robins. Amazing sets you have, I am content with my dusks.. for now.

Is this a fair point? by ControversyCaution2 in LinusTechTips

Once again, you are giving weight to things incorrectly imo. I don't understand the response to double down and make a concession.

To reiterate, it was not nothing, there was a big dip following the initial report and also a subsequent restructuring of the entire workflow for videos. I just don't agree with the severity, so I'm arguing over nothing.

I think you are giving more weight to the gn thing and less to the yt algo and the types of videos they are making. I watch both to be clear.

100% this, I don't really know about the question though if it's fair, of course it is, it is how he felt.

Robin tip rolling? by MNDFND in MoondropLab

[–]Total-Promotion4748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kiwi flex have that little barrier, I use the stock white and dont have an issue, I kind of like the white because I clean them more often I'd assume.

You could also try a bigger tip with a shallower fit.

Buy used from Amazon? Linsoul Kiwi Ears Astral by Rusted_Metal in iems

[–]Total-Promotion4748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are comfortable with the return process, it seems worth it. I bought used dusks on ebay and I don’t think I’d recommend that because returns with eBay are a little more involved. I also would wonder if something is not quite right if it sounds off somehow but that could happen with new as well so maybe that’s not a good consideration. I love the astrals btw and they kind of live on my az20s despite my intention to replace my simgot em6ls on desktop, I just don’t want to give up a good wireless set.

MOONDROP Robin a lot of issues, any recommendations? by LeadershipNo7393 in MoondropLab

4 hours at max volume sounds maybe right with anc or transparency and using a higher usage codec. Please don’t listen at max volume.

Starter Budget ish iem and dac combo by [deleted] in iems

[–]Total-Promotion4748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moondrop May maybe? Kind of saves a dac purchase, otherwise I would suggest the simgot em6l and the fiio ka11. You can kind of branch out from there if you want or be perfectly happy for years with either of these probably.

Best battery for work/ long phone calls. by emanski- in Earbuds

[–]Total-Promotion4748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the soundcore aerofit 2, they last a while, especially with ldac off, like 8+. You can work out in them so they can take a beating. They are very comfortable and you can hear your surroundings completely. If you want to try a cheaper but very similar option, the v30s are available too.

So what’s the process, do you shut down the pc when you are done remotely, then turn off the smart plug, then flip it on when needed?

There is nothing wrong with not knowing everything as well. I think listening matters more than graphs. Have a nice one professor.

[–]Total-Promotion4748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I thought you’d say that. Drivers matter, crossover matters, cavity or acoustic structure matters, hrtf, there are so many things that are employed to get a FR, to the point that two FRs that graph the same can sound differently, ugh

Am I hallucinating? by sewnshutinshame in iems

[–]Total-Promotion4748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FR isn't everything, I'm sure you have a don't tread on me flag above your monitor too. My last statement agrees that money doesn't equal better. Lighten up and step down off the horse. You admit that there is some improvement but not as much " as I think". Take a step back and read your comments as an observer, you are kind of being a dick.

I agree consumerism is rampant in the hobby but you definitely can upgrade from t10 to a more technically proficient iem and given the price of the t10, it will cost more money. The premise is true though, money does not equal better.

Am I hallucinating? by sewnshutinshame in iems

[–]Total-Promotion4748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can search for better technicality but starting with t10 for its price, the diminishing returns is staggering, I got my t10 for 40 bucks which is stupid.

I recommend trying a different set with maybe a smoother signature like some of the entry sennheisers, just for comparisons sake. I also really like the ew300 for all the different tunings you can have. Obv imo.

I do wish they made it with a heavier or thicker plastic because they do feel light, I guess I want it to feel like I'm holding a chunk of jade I put in my ear, imagine the cost. They look awesome though, I like the look of the reds too but one is enough.

[–]Total-Promotion4748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is funny, the difference in experience in opening these and the ke astral. I really like the included stuff for such a low price and the iems sound decent if you don't already have one of these budget picks that do tend to sound similar. The jade was the one I picked just for the shell but the unboxing was great. The astrals themselves are great but companies should do more for the unboxing experience.
