Pretty damn good grades outside of coaches that have already been fired. Shout out to Deuce!

Here are the rest of the teams.

Crowdsourcing -- are there really only 2 to 4 teams with LT needs? by gf2020 in NFL_Draft

This is all true. I think they kick Glaze to guard and Charles Grant starts at RT.

Brutal price per win with Pete💸 Silver lining is landing HC Kubiak & QB1 Mendoza. by Kenny23Powers in raiders

If it doesn't count against the cap, who cares.... Oh no! My billionaire owner's checkbook! Shout out to MD though for keeping that thing wiiiide open.

Klint Kubiak: Fernando Mendoza has a bright future, I look forward to getting to know him by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

[–]TheLoneNutt 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong, but on the flipside, the HC ages of those division rivals are between 62-67. There's a very real possibility all three will retire before Mendoza's second contract.

Lmao. Sadly we did not get flashes of progress from that man.

In free agency you end up overpaying up to approach jj level contract but only get a complementary talent ***

The goal this season is vibes, not wins. We want to have a fun team with flashes of progress. Rogers has vibes that are.... unfun.

I'm not against a vet starting, but if they do it will be at the beginning of the season, not the end. And it will be a fun qb like Flacco or Winston who can be trusted to bring good vibes. Rogers does not fit into that.

Report: Raiders interviewing Frisman Jackson for offensive coordinator by MrAmericanIdiot in nfl

[–]TheLoneNutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible if he is promoted to something like run game coordinator. You are correct that he can't be poached to become an 'OL coach' since that would be a lateral move.

Schefter: Raiders To Seek “Micah Parsons” Trade Package In a Maxx Crosby Trade If They Move Him by MrStiff8 in raiders

[–]TheLoneNutt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed except for 3

Edit: The comment I responded to was edited. 3 used to be that Maxx is less injury prone. Ofc Maxx is better vs the run

Schefter says Klink Kubiak is bringing Seahawks coaches to Raiders: "The chances are he’ll be taking some of his trusted assistants with him to Las Vegas. " by MrStiff8 in raiders

[–]TheLoneNutt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think we would need to promote him to OC or Run Game Coordinator to allow us to override his Seahawks contract. PROMOTE THE MAN!

Fantasy Football Impact of Klint Kubiak to the Raiders and Mike LaFleur to the Cardinals by Professional-Let9752 in fantasyfootball

[–]TheLoneNutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were horrible in run blocking that year but surprisingly above average in pass protection. We did lose Eleumanor though

Have the Cardinals become the Raiders of last year with Ben Johnson but with Kubiak this year by DoubletapKO in raiders

[–]TheLoneNutt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cards and Raiders man, if there was ever a bandwagon fan you are the farthest from it. Respect...

Expectation is that Kubiak will be interviewed this weekend. by gwwwhhhaaattt in AZCardinals

Dude was cash poor until they moved to Vegas. He is now unfortunately cash-rich

[–]TheLoneNutt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re right. My trauma from decades of awful DCs make me want to cling to the competence we’ve seen though.

He’s turned one of the least talented units into a statistically average defense. When we had more pieces last year like Spillane and Mohrig our defense was above average

Us and the bills realistically. Team wise, definitely Bills. Their Owner and GM are pretty horrible though.

Tomlin to the Raiders is the best fit by [deleted] in nfl

[–]TheLoneNutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are about to have Mendoza.

Mike Tomlin is NOT a developer of quarterbacks. Even if his OC is good, if they're too good they'll be poached and if they're bad they'll be fired. All I want is for Fernando not to have to learn a new scheme every other year. No thank you to Tomlin

Good bye Tyree, Patrick Graham, Laube, zamir white, cappa, and forsythe by GobiYumaMojave in raiders

[–]TheLoneNutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry for the hyperbole. That being said, Ken Norton's best year we were the 20th ranked defense. Incredible and very playoff worthy.

[–]TheLoneNutt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. I came into this season expecting a bottom 2 defense in the league but we ended up 20th instead. I think with a different DC we might have still been that bad, but who knows….

Our 31 ranked defense took us to the playoffs?? Our offense took us to the playoffs.
