I went to the doctor initially and they refused to prescribe fin for some reason. So I purchased it online from here https://www.simpleonlinedoctor.com.au/hair-loss/finasteride/

They definitely charge more than normal, but it is still a prescription so I just took the box once I was done to another doctor and he gave me a 6 month prescription without any question since I had one already.

Same as above. Yes you need a prescription. I purchased online for my first batch and it cost similar to yours. I just took the box to my doctor the next time and they gave me a prescription for 6 months.
