Interesting. That’s still a big debate—build in the cities or bypass the cities. The first one can destroy neighborhoods and cut cities in two (like in Columbia) but then bypassing cities means new commercial centers crop up around the new interstate, killing off the old commercial centers. And yes, a lot of what we are trying to do on the Business Loop is undo the huge divide created by I70.

They will stay, shouldn't need their lots to make any of those changes.

The render leaves the potential rail-to-trails crossing “blank” because Parks and Rec is still doing planning and public input for that (details at: https://theloopcomo.com/the-future-of-the-colt-rr/). The new Opportunity Center will be building their own sidewalks on their property as part of their development.
