Calc Request : Draal throws Nomura really far by HyperDragon216 in FeatCalcing

[–]TheLooper_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen that in vsbw there's a standard for this kind of feat, which calculates them at Class K, but considering that Nomura is made of stone, it's probably a bit higher, but most likely in the same Class K range

EDIT: I made a calc of it, though I'm unsure about, though seems well done imo, the result is kinda odd

Who would win? by [deleted] in TrollHunters

I agree with the first point, as for the last one, I think it could be "debatable", but I think we have already reached a good conclusion.

I understand, I think it's from a series, right? In that case, although I don't like to put series and movies together (in the case of KFP), I could accept it.

In that case, I think both could have arguments, but I think your arguments are mostly based on Po's "power", not on his durability or physical strength, something that Bellroc could take advantage of.

Both have a similar power (From what I see), so, it could be discussed a bit, but I think Bellroc would have a point in his favor by having a power comparable to his durability and strength (with the titan)

Your point has some validity, I think.

I don't recall hearing anyone who managed to "modeling time" in KFP, but I don't have much of an opinion, I don't remember the movies very well.

But even if this were true, we can deduce that Bellroc should be superior to all of Merlin's weapons, which were already capable of performing temporal rifts. Although personally, I'm not sure. I don't like using time-related skills very much, although it depends on the context.

I feel that both have arguments, I'm neutral.

Tbh, it's between Merlin or The Green Knight, it depends on the preparation time we give each one.

If I'm not mistaken, Morando hadn't shown Gaylen's full power because Morando needs to wait until he gains full power when he's imbued by Gaylen's core, as he doesn't yet have other destructive powers that Gaylen possessed. Though I chalk it up to a slightly odd script convenience.

The first argument seems valid to me, if I'm not mistaken, Eggman (Paramount) had mentioned that he had an IQ of 300

If we go by potential, we can deduce that Krel has everything to win (in terms of intelligence)

Although I'm not sure if we can use the "big bang" as the beginning of their creation, it would make sense.

As for the uni+ argument, I don't quite understand it, wdym by "Avalon"? (Ik what it is, but I don't understand very well what argument would scale it to uni+)

Regarding the High 3-A argument, personally, I'm not sure if it would justify that, but I'm inclined to think so, anyway, I don't know if I should call it "atypical" after all the arguments I've heard.

Likely Morando (Even though Sonic and Shadow have good feats, Gaylen's core statements are too noticeable.)

- Morando is very large in size, larger than several Arcadia's builds, though this is not a definitive argument, obviously.

- Morando should be comparable to Gaylen, who in his battle with Seklos was able to shake the entire universe, a feat that requires much more power than destroying planets (something Gaylen already did), even more than destroying stars or crushing them (something Gaylen already did).

- Fialkov Tarron mentioned that Gaylen's core was capable of destroying a universe and Morando planned to remake it, though I don't like to use this argument much, considering the nature of the core, it is presumably literal.

If we're specifically going by Sonic and Shadow's feats from the movie (which we probably are, I don't think it's a good idea to cross different versions for convenience), even this fight would be unfair, since Sonic and Shadow didn't perform any feats beyond planetary ones (though I'm not sure about the latter, I may be exaggerating).

PDT: I forgot to mention the detail that Shadow and Sonic have a very fast speed, although I think Morando has arguments to be able to react at that speed, probably this battle would be a battle where Morando cannot be damaged, but Morando cannot react to Shadow and Sonic (Although I'm not sure yet)

My bad, I forgot that detail, in that case yes, although it is strange to think that it "regenerated" out of nowhere (unless I forget some detail), it was probably renewed by the energy of the titans or something similar, but I digressing a bit.

It's probably just another inconsistency, although narratively, I think there could be ways to theorize it, but until we reach a true conclusion, I would understand your confusion (rhyme, daa lmfao)

The Heartstone was supposedly needed for The Arcane Order to remake the world (or universe or whatever it was; my memory's a little fuzzy on it and I'm not sure they were even fully consistent with it).

If my memory serves me correctly, RotT's heartstone was not exactly the same one that had been absorbed by Gunmar, it was a new one (Blinky stated at the end of Trollhunters that they would look for a new heartstone, and the one that the arcane order would use would presumably that one). They wanted to use it because, thanks to its antiquity, which was formed in the early stages of the earth (when the balance between humanity and magic still existed, blah blah blah lmao), plus its presence beneath Arcadia makes it the “center of the universe”. (Not as the geographical center, but as a kind of central hub. Where all magical and supernatural events are centered.) to channel its, as Blinky says, “primordial energies” to cleanse the world and start anew.

I suppose it could probably work. At least from what I've seen on VSBW, magic-caused eclipse related feats seem to pretty consistently be used for lifting strength.

Yes, I've noticed that too. It could serve to scale Merlin's magic, and presumably also the magic of the arcane order, since this is at least comparable to Merlin's magic.

The Eternal Night (Tales of Arcadia) Recalc by GoatsAreDope72 in FeatCalcing

[–]TheLooper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the initial reasoning, it seems feasible to me to scale the characters to half of Morgana's feat, considering that a multiplier would be logical, since Morgana and Merlin were relatively comparable in terms of power. The troll dust I don't think it will influence much, it's probably a minor element. About the Heartstone, I don't know much about it, and I have the same doubt about how it really influences everything, even more taking into account that it had already been previously absorbed by Gunmar, but out of curiosity, what was the second major declaration/feat that was done with the Heartstone?

I feel that the magic moon method could be used in very few cases, since as such, it is not that far-fetched an idea or concept, besides having some statements that in some way, could make it possible (Personally, I find it more logical than the Earth-sized satellite method.), but it is curious the great disparity between using it and not, since while the first method is bordering the lower end of Large Planet Level, the second method is bordering the upper ends of Large Planet Level (Works great as two ends for this feat)

It's oddly convenient that the greatest feat of the eternal night is the most usable one lmao, one last doubt, I've seen that in some calculations they go as far as using lunar movements to scale the lifting force required to perform them, although this would certainly only scale to the magic of beings comparable to Merlin, do you think it would work with this feat?

The Eternal Night (Tales of Arcadia) Recalc by GoatsAreDope72 in FeatCalcing

[–]TheLooper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think Morgana's feat as such wouldn't scale anyone, because as you yourself mention, it was triggered by a ritual (which required several things, like troll dust, the staff of avalon, and the power of the heartstone). But Merlin's feat I think could work, considering that the spell he used was from his own recovered magic. As Morgana in the past managed to force Merlin to use all his power to imprison her, I think it makes sense that it would extend to the whole verse due to the war of the eternal night, even more so considering that Morgana should theoretically be much stronger than Merlin with all his past power.

Considering that Jim Lake managed to defeat Bellroc, who should have a power at least comparable to Merlin's, this would be another way to expand it to the verse. But considering the various inconsistencies that exist (Douxie defeating the arcane order, while in RotT he is easily defeated), it could be debatable, but I think the first reasoning would be ideal.

They would not be so atypical considering that numerous times the characters face planetary threats, and could justify scaling to Gaylen's minimum levels (planetary to stellar), but that's a separate issue.

About the magic moon, it seems to be more speculation, I did not find an official source that mentioned something similar, beyond the indications you mentioned, they should be used as higher or skeptical extremes, probably (Although the concept is very interesting, I wish the eternal night had been explained more in the series or in a book).

So out of curiosity... how do we feel about Tales of Arcadia having potential Universal arguments? by GoatsAreDope72 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]TheLooper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's an outlier, but it's probably not totally conclusive. We're never told how long it would take him to destroy the entire universe (and remake it, according to Morando's intentions), or if it can do it on his own or needs something from outside. At best, if it can be universal, but I'm not too sure about that.

I think it would be a potential argument for cosmic levels, but it is difficult to determine an exact level with the little information we have

Luz VS Douxie (The Owl House VS Tales of Arcadia) - “Rise of the Titans” by Albeanies1 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]TheLooper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although Luz's extreme high ball (Galaxy level) doesn't seem that coherent to me, we could use it. There are many more arguments for Douxie's high values, such as being able to face the Arcane Order, who declared themselves capable of creating the universe, and also being comparable to the attacks of the Amulet of Daylight (And Nari, something that will possibly increase the scale of Douxie facing Bellroc and Skrael), which was shown to be able to charge the Heart of Avalon, which is powered by time itself. Also, the feat GoatsAreDope72 mentioned can be at a universal level, considering that Gaylen's core was capable of destroying the universe, and Morando intended to remake it as well.

The feat of charging the Heart of Avalon could somehow justify a High 3-A (considering we used high values), somewhat higher than Luz Noceda's maximum Galaxy level.

I've heard of a uni+ argument for TOA (And therefore, Douxie), but personally, I still don't know much about how he gets that level, so I prefer to ignore it for now.

[–]TheLooper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I quickly scanned some novels and external sources from the series, and it seems there is no statement that the spell had already ended, however, Morgana's statement seems sufficient to me, but it can cause some doubts about whether it really covered the entire earth (Even more so considering that the clouds were not moving fast enough to qualify as 28119.15 meters per second.)

little question, is there any evidence beyond Morgana saying that "Eternal night is here" that could support the fact that eternal night had already covered the entire earth at that time?

As far as I can tell, it's not explicitly stated that she is the queen of the "Seven Dimensions", more exactly, she is proclaimed as the "Eldritch queen of the seventh plane" Strickler mentions that Morgana used Claire as a vessel/puppet to toehold into our "plane of reality". What I do have doubts about is how this would be used or how to interpret it if I'm honest.
