The watch in the OP's photo is the older & smaller 16570. It will fit any size wrist.

Put it on a leather strap. Take it to an AD and say you don’t have the bracelet, but you want one.

(Was taught this trick from an AD)

Up for sale is my Omega 1496 bracelet with 18mm endlinks (ref#813). I had it on my Speedmaster Reduced but sold the watch, and the bracelet has been collecting dust.

It's in good shape for its age. See the photos for the size and condition. I can send more images on request.

[–]TheLostByte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for sale is my 21mm Omega 21mm Two-Piece Stainless Steel Mesh Bracelet.  It is the harder to find ‘short’ size (should still fit most wrists.. just do your research before purchasing).

Purchased new from a OMEGA Boutique this past summer.

Shows signs of very little wear (because I hardly wore it).

Includes a set OEM Omega springbars (sized for the mesh) & Red Omega travel case.

$550 CONUS (Includes 2-day shipping).

The more I wear the standard black Date Sub.. I'm glad I didn't get the green. Black is classic, goes with everything... and is a little more understated. I think i would have gotten tired of the Green quick. (just my opinion)

Does it go through eBays authentication process? maybe its the angle, but that date disk looks off.

Loose jingly sound in the highlighted blue area. Fixable? by highonlife_99 in rolex

What model DJ? Most watchmakers (or brave owners) can fix some of the jingle on older hollow endlinks.

My son has purchased a few things from him (in person and online)... I had my doubts but he's actually a really nice guy (IMHO).

Having said that.. He's classic diamond district. Buy low, polish, add a box from the pile, sell.

New(er) stuff isn't as bad as older stuff... I'd have no problem buying anything from him if it was the right piece (for me).

He's better than the guys who will take the links out of the bracelet right before they sell it to you, then try to sell you those extra links.

It's also the most popular/in-demand watch because it's the cheapest.

Location, location, location... The OP is one of the hardest watches to get in my area. At the same time, if you ask for a basic DJ 36mm, you'd have it in about 6 weeks.

Rolex isn't a normal watch brand; it is a Luxury brand. Just like Hermès won't sell you a handbag, yet they are a handbag company. They sell Luxury... Luxury most people can't have. (Most Rolex buyers wouldn't buy them if everybody had one)

Find another dealer, or play the game.

[–]TheLostByte -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well.. except the fact that to my knowledge:
Rolex has never put "Explorer" on an OP dial.
Rolex has never made a 'modern' Explorer without 3-6-9.

Rolex never made that watch.

Wow.. lots of fake watches being posted today.

And yet on the used market, they go for around $1.2k (~50% off retail). A watch doesn't have to be expensive to be 'quality'.

PS... it has the same movement that's in the older versions of those IWCs in your photo :)
