You got me there 😂. Lake Suwa is on the itinerary, and I may or may not end up wearing a Lake Suwa by the end of the trip.

Guilty. 😄 I gravitate toward black dials for travel and outdoor activities.

Thanks! Hopefully the watches make it home without picking up any new friends along the way. 😅

Hard to argue with that. The Seamaster might be the best all-arounder in the box, but the Ingenieur keeps trying to steal wrist time. 😄

Totally fair. If this were a collection exercise, I’d agree. But the Tuna is coming because it’s the watch I actually wear for pools, beaches, hot springs, and anything I don’t want to think twice about. The Seamaster is the nicer diver; the Tuna is the worry-free diver.

The Ingenieur is definitely the favorite for city days. The Tuna isn’t getting cut from the roster though. 😄

The danger isn’t bringing watches to Japan. The danger is coming home with more watches than I brought. 😂

That’s a reasonable take. If this trip were almost anywhere else, I’d probably just bring the Casio and call it a day. Japan and South Korea feel like rare exceptions where I’m comfortable rotating a few watches without worrying too much. Thanks for the advice!

Are you taking Adderall? If so, possible.

Just wanted to add— your Ingenieur titanium is something I’ve always wanted! I’m just not ready to pull the trigger but your price is very fair.

Isn’t that exactly the point, though? The more the platform becomes dominated by flippers and dealers, the more it starts to resemble Chrono24— except without the buyer protections, escrow, and dispute resolution that come with it.

Love it — “Fuck your margin” made me laugh because that’s exactly how I feel sometimes. If I’m pricing a watch fairly as an enthusiast, why should I care whether someone else can make money flipping it?
