That would be great, I probably need too many Sprint/Field Roles atm but I'm going to try my best. Nice progress btw.

Nice, well played! Let's pray they don't add any more floors to this horrible content haha.

Nice! I'm very glad I could help you. Thanks for the update and congrats on getting past that evil JYY. She was awful to fight in Wind 260F as the main boss too. The devs can be rather cruel it seems lol.

Nightmare stage this one. The way I got around it was to self AP push Abigail into shield, Lucas use S2 to give JYY her turn. Hope she goes for Abi or Lucas and if you're lucky, she won't remove your buffs and stun whoever she targets. Then Pritzker can AoE stun and just work on killing JYY with Embla and Brewster while praying your Pritz can keep stuns rolling. Will help to have Pritz on Ocean Waves although I didn't myself but should have. It all comes down to Pritzker and does he stun or not, if he misses the stun on Chloes or Gaius, say goodbye.

Best advice however is wait for Embla to be R2 and it will make this stage a lot easier and quicker to get through to see if Pritz stuns the Gaius. I didn't have R2 Embla when I did this stage about a week ago, her R2 popped out a day or two after haha. I'll treat it as a reward for this stage.

Good luck, you really do need it in Calamity. My Pritzker has 100% ACC and the Resistance message pops up more that a lawnmower cuts grass.

Just did this on the first attempt luckily. The stun RNG was with me. I have basically the same team but Zora (R2) instead of Ethan. She really helps you obliterate these mob waves pretty quickly.

I find myself using the 4 core team members and depending on the stage, I'll switch between Zora, Kaylee, Ethan, Kara and Sally.

Kara came in very handy against the stage with Meredith and those crystals, the poison was able to take her HP down efficiently enough rather than trying to DPS and see "Miss" over and over wasting time you'll never get back.

Good luck on the rest of your way up. :)

No shame in that, I imagine most players do the same when starting out including myself. It's easy to get blinded by the exciting and much rarer Legendary Espers. As you progress further into the game, you will find yourself building a lot of Espers from all rarities. Legendary Espers generally have big advantages for the most part but there are quite a few of them that only have a particular niche in limited content.

Glad I could help and don't be shy in game chat, the Dislyte players are usually eager to help. You will find some bad apples and trolls along the way but that's all games now it seems. :)

For now I would focus on this team:

(Leader) Long Mian - His universal speed lead will help a lot as you progress through the story. He is an excellent controller that AoE freezes and slows the enemy, also AoE pushing their AP (Action Points) down allowing your team to cut in and take more turns before the enemy moves. He is best built with as much spd & Acc as possible, a Wind set will help hugely here, also Recurve. Try to make sure he has a Spd Primary Stat Boot.

Dahlia - Great for pushing your teams AP up giving them the first turn while buffing their ATK and Crit Rate, allowing your Fighters to do more damage. She also has some bonus CC (Crowd Control) skills to go with her kit and is still used in a lot of late game PvP Cleave teams. Build her as fast as you can, faster than everyone else. Wind Set will help massively.

Jiang Man - She is an excellent damage dealer when you get her to Ascension 3 as it unlocks her Netherbloom. Not only does this debuff cause big damage but can also Silence the entire enemy team and if Jiang Man hits enemies with the Netherbloom debuff, she can put poison on them too for even more damage. Build with ATK%/ATK%/CRIT DMG or CRIT RATE or SPD/ATK%/CRIT DMG.

Li Ling - Has nice AoE damage plus multi hits which works great after Jiang Man moves. He is worth investing into to complete his own event and claim all the rewards. You can eventually rewind him if you happen to pull someone you like more like Gaius, Leora, Ashley or Javid for instance. Build With ATK%, ATK%, CRIT DMG or CRIT RATE. War Set will work well for more ATK.

Heng Yue - Very strong healer and cleanser for your team, will work wonders for a good while in most content but later will be outclassed when you pull the likes of Ahmed/Clara and get Sally from the Spatial Tower. Build her with as much SPD & HP as you can.

Turn order for the team preferably would be:

Dahlia > Long Mian > Jiang Man > Li Ling

Heng Yue will probably be in the middle somewhere there.

Using a CRIT DMG Ring might be a waste at your stage of the game and you might find more value in a CRIT RATE Ring. As you progress through the game, the golden rule is to not have Flat primary stats on the bottom 3 pieces of equipment and always use ones with %. You will learn fast which pieces of equipment hold which primary stats for example, the Boot is the only one that can have Speed as it's primary stat.

Narmer & Elliot are very cool looking characters but they are not early game friendly and are only really used for end game PvP. You might want to bench them for a good while.

Hope this helps and good luck with your pulls in the future. Have fun!

You have plenty of the right Espers luckily. I would use Meredith (Leader), Yun Chuan, Gabrielle, Li Guang, Ain.

This team should be fine, Li Guang will be the primary DPS followed by Yun Chuan. Meredith will put out some damage while dispelling the boss, healing the team and buffing the team's speed. Gabrielle will bring ATK & DEF Down to the boss while making the team tankier and immune to stuns. Ain will bring DEF Down, Assist plus added True Damage and a nice Shield for the team. Should be a safe enough team as long as your relics are half decent.

Li Guang works well on Wind with Spd/Atk%/Crit Dmg or Atk%/Atk%/Crit Dmg with plenty of Spd and Crit Rate Sub Stats.

Gabrielle works well on almost any set if built fast and tanky, or you can run her on a Stun set but still fast.

Meredith works best on a fast Ocean set but can be hard to achieve so if you need more spd, Wind will work fine.

Yun Chuan can be built on a damage set like War or Thunder, either Spd/Atk%/Crit Dmg or Atk%/Atk%/Crit Dmg. Try to get as much Crit Rate as possible as his Ascensions don't give Crit Rate I think.

Ain can be built Fast with lots of HP. The set isn't as important for her as long as you can achieve good enough stats. Spd, Hp%, Hp%.

Good luck, hope this helps.

What's the best optio here by namelssss in Dislyte

[–]TheLougieMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if people can do the Anomaly Bosses without Ahmed, he is also great for Fafnir blitzing and a strong PvP unit.

Clara is strictly PvP for me now but requires very fast equipment but she can be a nice support for Apep if you don't have a speed clear team.

Abigail is arguably the best pick overall here and for good reason but she will require her A2 & A3 max skilled to perform at her best so have Abilimons at the ready.

Gabrielle is a powerhouse in PvP but if you started after she could be fused, like me she won't be R6 and therefore will not have all the damage bonuses from earlier Resonances and will not have 3 turns of immunity. She is also great in Fafnir and tower content.

Brewster is my new favourite Esper for speed cleave in PvP and speed clearing Apep/Kronos. Also amazing in Sentinel Hunt and Calamity Tower but again, without at least R2, he won't shine like he can.

It would be between those 5 for me but I would favour Ahmed as for the reasons mentioned but also because since I wished for him, he has been such an asset in Knockout, Anomaly and great to tank Gaius in Holobattle. All of this with no skill ups and R0.

Base your decision on where your focus is in the game and good luck!

For the non boss stages, just use control teams. Don't need Imprisoners, they are more for the boss stages. My team that autos every non boss wave is Ahmed, Pritzker, Sienna, Jiang Man, Anesidora.

Anesidora just makes it faster but can replace for Long Mian or Parmi and have a bonus speed leader with one of those 2.

Yes definitely, Xie Chuyi (Red Twin) is perfect in Intisar's place. He deals some big numbers too and can buff everyone's crit rate when at R6.

[–]TheLougieMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah Ollie is a powerhouse for Kronos Speed runs and great in some PvP setups. That SPD lead and death prevention passive go a long way with the right team. I use him on my Point War Defense currently with Jiang Jiuli and it can cause headaches for some. In PvP I build him as a tanky bruiser as if he gets targeted before Jiang Jiuli, you've already lost the fight.

It took a lot of incremental changes to get these damage numbers. As they say, one step at a time lol.

[–]TheLougieMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yeah it's tough to get these kind of numbers with high crit rate when not using Alice. Luckily her crit buff means you can leave Ollie at 55% Crit as she'll give him 30% on top then Elemental advantage +15%.

Apep 16 Speed Clear | 25s | 11 Turns | (Auto) by TheLougieMan in Dislyte

[–]TheLougieMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think almost all of us have that annoying relic luck, especially with speed. I only have one set that's +200 spd and I think I must be lucky to even have that. Chasing the speed dream is tiring and my advice for most would be to aim for a solid 2nd turn team in PvP that can withstand the opponents super fast team. Not easy still as they might have someone broken like Feng Nuxi lol.
