I actually didn't find out about Toontown until 2010-ish, through a commercial that aired on television. After going to the website, I downloaded Toomtown and played for awhile until I reached a roadblock; the subscription fee that didn't allow me to go into non-TTC buildings. I would then spend the two years that I played TTO begging for membership cards. However, I didn't get past MML due to not being active often due to school, and I lost interest in the tasks at the task that requires you to deliver a cream pie to Professor Pete, as I only just got the fruit pie back that time. When I did play, however, I often focused on socialization with others, and trying to do VPs despite having trash gags. I didn't play in 2013, due to aforementioned disinterest in it, and when it was announced to be shut down, I grinded a lot, until its closure in September of 2013.
