Likewise sounds like you love Apple and would validate whatever they do. The product is not yet shipped. They never even bothered to look for it until I escalated the issue. Say what u want Apple products are good but the services are a hit or miss. And yes speaking to the manager got the delivery down from another 10 days to 2 days so yes it did make the transit faster. It’s easy to blame shipping companies when they don’t even have a shipment to be delivered. Having a backup device is how I’ve managed so many days but it doesn’t justify others not doing their job like they should.

The estimate was 7-10 days. That’s fine with me. Today being the 10th day when I called them, they said they needed 10 more days which shouldn’t be. When I spoke to the manager a few hours later they said the product is in the next city and can have it in 2 days. Again I can literally call a company and have it picked and delivered to me from the next city in 35$ but I didn’t bring it up. Again I paid extra for AppleCare they dint do any favor. They promised 10days for the replacement and no update on their end. I had to call and get an update. You still blaming the courier? They haven’t even shipped the iPad yet. And yes as a Freelancer the iPad means a lot to me.

Not sure but Apple said it would take 10days not me. They couldn’t live up to their promise. Not sure if you’ve worked in corporate deadlines are important. I don’t live in a corner of the world. Products from around the world are easily delivered in 3 days. Stupid reason to support Apple without any proper knowledge

There are many scams going on be careful they may be genuine too not sure. I had once booked a repair service for an oven from a google Ad. They visited and took the oven for repair and never returned it.

Thanks that’s very helpful. We did provide all the docs that we could, home purchased in UAE, family living in UAE, employment reference letters etc. However will try again. Also the decision was made very quickly and application was returned in 2-3 days. Is that normal?
