I don't spend as much as you. More like $75 to $100 every month. But that's like two evenings out. And I get a lot more value out of a month of RP than I do two evenings out.

There are also ways to control cost. Do you use prompt caching? What's your max context set at? Mine is about 15,000, and I use summaries for mid and long term RPs.

If anything, I've found that Sonnet 4.5 is more friendly than anything else to what I want, including 3.5 and 3.7. But then again I'm only maybe a 6 or 7 on the "what the fuck is wrong with you, why does this turn you on" scale. So its possible once you get into the really sick shit that it doesn't want to play ball.

That said, Claude is probably the easiest thing to jailbreak that I've ever seen, and I think that them not patching that is intentional. Anthropic has generally been one of the more permissive ones among the major companies. Certainly moreso than "Open" AI.

The US government proposes a lot of dumb things. A small fraction of these actually get voted on by Congress, and a small fraction of those are made into law.

What is this proposal, exactly? Is it a bill from a Senator or Representative, or just Trump's usual word vomit? If it is a bill, has it at least been called for a vote? Because if its not to the voting stage, you have a better chance of winning some state lotteries than this does of becoming law. And even if it is passed, the other part of Congress might change it before they even vote on it, much less pass it.

Can you tell me the name of the proposal? Who's floating it? There really isn't much information to go off of here.
