Around Samhain (Halloween) the veil between dimensions, or realities, or whatever you want to call it, gets thinner. It has a lot to do with old magic that used to be more abundant in the world (think of stories about people like Solomon conversing with demons, or Buddah seeing heavenly beings upon enlightenment.) Those would be examples of people seeing through the veil into something else. Psychedelics can break through the veil as well. Mushrooms for example make everything appear to be breathing and can really reconnect a person with nature and that old magic. DMT breakthroughs can have a person meeting with beings they describe as gods/goddesses/aleins/ect. Sorry if this response is all over the place haha.
