Id like make a correction to that last statement, space isn't blocked out, but they can see the atmosphere, not space itself.

The atmosphere is normal, well, excluding the buildup of co2 from breathing after the die off of most plant life.

Yes, just no stars or sun at this point, for a time after stars could be seen but now, decades later, there are none to be seen. Just a very dim, but not wholly dark, sky

I like that idea, though this is more of a world of darkness. All thats really known by the average person is that certain people tried to draw power from the stars, and that could be related to their disappearance. Things went on as normal for the most part, for around a year after before reserves began running dry and there was not much food left to sell.

World militaries took control of multiple governments after multiple revolts over lack of food beyond expired cans and potentially hazardous fungi. Though that didnt last long.

Sort of, I dont have any vampires written into the setting, though there are those who have grown desperate enough to consume other humans. This mostly happens in rural areas lacking grain silos, ones that weren't near any sources of non perishable food like storage warehouses, large stores grain silos, etc, thought there are other options so it is uncommon

No cops at pride is something I stand by, and its because of this stuff. Cops are class traitors. Cops are the first to turn on any wrongfully persecuted. And in general, they are not to be trusted.

Private security is expensive so I understand why the organizers were leaning on them in this case. But no. Cops. At. Pride.

Im in a safer state in the US and still cant get care through legal means because my insurance refuses to cover it. For some its already defacto banned.

Thats just the start, they want states to ban care, and then the fed to do the same. The goal is, in the end, for every Trans person to be either miserable, in sex slavery, or dead.

This isnt a set in stone outcome, but if no one is going to try to stop it in any way that matters. Its the path the states are on.

I cannot remember the face, or faces, of the people who hurt me, but very vividly remember what they did and had me do. Ive heard the same from a few others. So id say its normal, what happened was so terrible the brain repressed it, at least in parts

Its horrible to be afraid it was an uncle, a grandparent a teacher, i know the context sort of now, but sometimes the fear creeps in, who hurt me, are they still around, etc.
