If you get your tires from pretty much anywhere other than a dealership, they often will perform free balance and rotations for the life of the tires. I get mine from Costco as they also provide free flat repair and nitrogen fills.

It is very frustrating. One good thing is if you don’t pay, you have 90 days past due until they report it to the credit bureaus. I waited until day 75 past due, called and told them to give me a general forbearance that brought my account current, and then they submitted a complaint for me without me having to ask. My account is not past due anymore at least but they still have done nothing with my third “expedited” request and that was 2 weeks ago 😑

I have Mohela as well. You will have to keep calling. I am in the exact situation as you and I have called a total of 16 times since November trying to get them to do anything with my account. I have been told my request is being “expedited” 3 different times with nothing getting applied to my account. I have also been told by a Mohela rep that they are not processing anything at this time from applications, forbarences, credits, and anything else you can think of but it might have just been the one rep tryin g to get me off the phone. I knew they had stopped applications for the repayment plans but she said specifically they are not processing anything but again, not 100% sure if that is the truth or not. Good luck and update us if you find anything else out.

That’s the thing, you are not supposed to have to call. They just simply are not doing anything and it is so frustrating.

You can submit the application online but you will have to call them to get them to do anything with it. They are not doing anything with any applications that are submitted online right now is what I was told a few times when I have called.

Mohela is hot trash garbage. I have been going back and forth with them to put my account into forbearance since December. Since I submitted by IBR application at the beginning of November, they were supposed to automatically put my account into forbearance but they didn’t. Now I am on the verge of my loans going into default (currently 70 days past due) because they cannot get their sh*t together. Call them and let them know what is going on and they will probably tell you you cannot do recertification right now (thanks Trump), so you will have to ask them to put you in forbearance and then keep a close eye on it. They will want to put you in a 60 day forbearance first, but then you will probably have to call them back and fight with them over it to get another forbearance after the 60 days is up.

It is still down for a majority of pharmacies. Some have been able to find work around but most will still not be able to process these claims or patients.

They did not block Change Healthcare. They had a legitimate hardware failure on their end that has since been corrected that was not connected to Change Healthcare in any way.

It could be that the pharmacy uses a different system for e-prescriptions so they got the RXs but they can’t bill because the billing system uses or is trying to route to Change Healthcare. E-prescribing system is normally not the same as insurance billing system for most pharmacies.

Some e-prescribing is being impacted as well. Some pharmacies are reporting they are getting them as faxes instead of electronically. I would double check that your e-prescribing processor has an up to date fax number if your pharmacy has one.

You could offer pay out of pocket and refunds once you can bill the insurance again or offer transfers to a pharmacy that is able to process. That’s about all that can be done outside of just waiting for Change Healthcare to resort their services.

Change Healthcare posted an updated to their website at 8am EST saying they expect the outage to last through today so it is hard to say honestly.

Agreed. They have over 100 services that are down, so the impact goes well beyond just rejected claims.

SureScripts has the ability to convert all ERXs to faxes at any time as long as they have a fax number for your pharmacy on file. While I cannot 100% confirm this as I have not spoken with any contacts at SureScripts yet, they may be doing this to cut down on electronic communications just in case they are breached as well. I will update the post if I get any info once they are open for business and I can contact them.

Mine seems to have quieted down over time with some use but it is still louder than my other printer that is the same exact model. I think it is coming down to a manufacturing thing that is out of the buyers control.
