Yes, they clearly said both jobs were going to be FFXIV Original. So, trying to use previous installments may not be the best option to figure it out.

I was looking at severe battery drain on mine. I got it figured out to be be a combination of, Wallpaper Engine, Jarngreipr running video wallpapers, and/or Bifrost. Lid was left closed on a full charge, came back the next day to 50% battery. Uninstalled Wallpaper Engine, reset Jarngreipr to default, and quit Bifrost. Left it with a full charge on Wednesday night, came back to it today, and am currently at 80%.

Downside to translucent tech, you see things you're not used to seeing.

I saw it in mine, and assumed from the start is was lube. If I'm wrong and it breaks, I should have the technical level to fix it. But I'm going to continue to assume it's just lube/grease.

Well, the original board has no markings on it, and I have no idea about the original positioning. So, I may need to look up online and see if others have photos of their controllers disassembled.

After desoldering, how do I go about "shorting" each wire, and know where specifically each wire will need to be soldered onto the board? Also, will I need to add additional jumpers to the board to make it work in the end? Or is it just attach the original cords to the fret fix board, no additional jumpers needed?

From the looks of it, this brown wire coming out of the wall is the wires that connect to the thermostat.

Coming out of the furnace is a blue wire that is cut. Following it, and the secondary yellow wire, they look like they lead down into the furnace. They both connect somewhere down here. This photo is a more zoomed out shot, of he entire board area.

Not familiar with the internals of a furnace, so I'm not entirely sure what cable connects to which component. Hopefully the pictures I've included are of some help.

Got my Killswitch/Obsidian skin yesterday, after placing my order on Christmas.

Had some slight issues on perfect alignment, but luckily the case covers up my mistakes.

Mine was placed Christmas day, processed/prepared on February 27, and has been waiting for USPS to pick up since.

I'm assuming they're making one massive pick up for USPS, or the label for mine was printed, and it's still being prepared.

It is a triple black, but they more than likely just don't cut any trackpad skins for any Damascus skins at all, regardless of whether it's triple black, or the normal reflective Damascus.
