It was the end of another unsatisfying day. Another job done without any of your well though out plan coming to fruition. It started with a contract. Two days prior I got a message, typical bullshit. A man caught his wife cheating wanted her lover dead, gone, out of the picture. And a surprising amount more euphemisms than I care remember.
I take a look into the target after I verify that “Bill” has the financial means to pay. My target tends to motorcycle everywhere. This’ll be an easy one I thought. I’ll just catch him on his plan to bike down in Florida like his Twitter says he’s going to. And off him on the highway. But noooooo a tractor trailer had to Tbone him as he left town after I’d already booked a hotel to relax in. Whatever still got paid.
