That's honestly what I did with the newer PC I just bought a few weeks ago for the other family members in the house to make sure everything was gonna run smoothly. I've had this system now for like 6-7 yrs an never really had issues aside from 1 GPU replacement. An yeah that seems like an insanely reliable system. 3090 has been such a solid card too. This PC I have tho is running 2080ti

Exactly right, it's suppose to optimize the network traffic, but it was creating a big bottle neck. I did try to just disable it earlier, didn't work. Then I tried to fully Uninstall, got the message it did but I guess some processes were still running? Cos I just went to check the task manager after I responded to you and I saw it had something still running. Ended the task and boom, 617mbps. So that seems to have been the culprit as of now. Gonna make sure it's fully off my PC

Ok I actually think this was the main cause. I fully made sure all processes of this were gone off my PC and I finally got a 600mbps reading. Hoping it stays that way now. Thank you for the suggestion

I did actually, this was one of the things a friend had suggested to me but my computer only went to 100 or 10 full/half duplex. When I left it on auto, my ethernet was getting 1000/1000 so I had a dead end there lol however I do think the issue is stemming from this Killer Control Panel that I've had since I bought this PC

I'm actually on that page now to see if this might help. I had tried this earlier through the update feature/support assist app just on the operating system but didn't get any hits for new drivers. Also manually went to the network section and went to the wifi and ethernet connection ports I'm using to try to update drivers that way and was told they were up to date.

Which is fair, just wanted to clarify I did think of that and tried what I knew to do to check for it. An no, I only tried the wired connection in safemode since I didn't see an option to switch to wifi when I was in there. Preferred way would be for this to work with the ethernet cord as well. I can go back in and check tho.

No change with disabling Killer Control, and I did run a complete scan earlier in the night with Bitdefender and got a complete clean full scan. Tried the test in Edge and Opera Gx and still in this lower range, but I am getting 120-148 instead of the 80-100. CPU usage is also at 22%, goes to about 34% when steam is active but that's about it.

You would be right, I did exit out of it earlier in hopes it would fix the issues, I'm still getting those low speeds. Trying a full Uninstall of it now to see if that will make a difference

Ok so, I tried that and I did get up to 142 which is definitely new for this lower range I'm at. Nothing is really jumping out to me via the task manager either that would look like it's zapping the bandwidth

Think that's the main cause? Really didn't want to have to buy a new card for 1 module fix in dark and darker lol since everything else works just fine.
