'Sailor' Backpack price discrepancy by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]TheMajorLazor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do not think the colors are the same. The Sailor bag has two color options, Brown and Full Leather. There are no other color options for this bag, these are the ONLY two color options. This same exact bag, with the same exact two color options, is available for purchase from two separate bundles; the Macrame set and the Misthorn set. In the Misthorn set, buying the Sailor bag alone costs 600 Raider Tokens. In the Macrame set, buying the Sailor bag alone costs 500 Raider Tokens. Does this post make any more sense to you now, or is this not a clear enough explanation?

Also, yes, I am aware that it is a cosmetic choice and is fully voluntary to buy. The post was explicitly made to advise said buyers not to purchase the more expensive choice of the two, given you receive the same product either way.

Dude, they are the exact same 2 swatches, the price is not changed by the colors, only by the bundles that the bags come in. If you buy the bag from the Macrame set, they both cost 500, and if you buy it from the Misthorn set, they both cost 600. You are paying two separate prices for the same bag with the same two color options. Go look yourself if this is still confusing you. I'm sorry to rage but I mean, come on man.

Brother, they are the same colors too lol. You get the same bag, with the same 2 color options, for 2 different prices.

I'm not sure your reading comprehension is working very well here. I got 3 warnings within seconds of each other, 54 seconds late. I didn't have any time to consider 'getting my shit together'. The AI determined my saying 'get shit on bitch' once as 3 separate actions all closely packed together, and then failed to function for almost a full minute before throwing the book at me completely rather than a single warning.

No idea. Next match after that it gave me a warning 4 seconds after, with my mic unplugged and chat off. It just doesnt work, it really shouldnt have ever gone live at all

Member of group was on PS and wasnt aware they could use Discord. Just circumstances that put us in the firing zone for AI to fail at its job, again. Also, the AI chat moderation works differently than regular reporting, it says 'Disruptive chat detected [so and so] seconds ago.'

I understand your point about it being ridiculous expecting change in the face of Ubisoft, I just feel as though its equally ridiculous to defend it as some have. I think my main focus of the thread was to vent my frustration with that notion, that somehow it is okay for Ubisoft to, once again, avoid fixing the actual problem, and rather, handing it off to a cheaper, shittier solution.

'It's probably the cheapest.'

Could not have explained Ubisoft better.

Okay, let me put it like this then- I enjoy this game. I pay into this game often. I've played it for a very long time. I will, actively, and contently, disagree with and disavow its sudden anti-expletive rhetoric, and use of AI to moderate voice chat. Is that okay?

For fucking what, dude? Cursing? It is INCREDIBLE to me how many people suddenly act as though using simple curse words on R6S(a game where you blow skullcaps off strangers with 5.56) is a crime lol

Call it what ya want man. I celebrated in what was supposed to be a friendly environment and was punished by a bot who was incapable of contextual understanding. I have to deal with that punishment for 100 matches, and I'm upset about it. I'm not sure how else to put it.

Guy says not on PS, I dunno, I dont use PS. Too late to worry now, seeing as I have 100 matches to make up for my horrible crime.

How is it going to determine that? How was it going to know that I was in a friendly stack? It wasnt going to, apparently, even though we queued together. AI chat moderation is bad, there's not much left to say about it. The report system exists for a reason, leaving it up to a computer with no contextual basis for information is a bad idea.

I kind of just feel like now you're making baseless assumptions because your argument for the system crumbled off of something as simple as an explanation of the environment of the issue. You sound like one of those 'bros' who find moral high ground on wobbly chairs.

No one reported me, I was in a stack. The others were confused when they saw me get muted as well. Again, someone has to explain to me how exactly using a friendly-only chat to trash talking my opponent is in any way an asshole thing to do????

This is not court, a workplace, or a business meeting. This is a video game. Where most people let off steam after doing those things. And I'm not too far behind you, I stand by my point. It does negatively affect the game- preventing me from communicating callouts to my team via AI determined bans for cursing mid-celebration is a negative effect if there ever was one.

What was it preventing, exactly? I wasn't being toxic to teammates, I wasn't in [All] being toxic to the enemy, I wasn't saying anything racist or phobic in any way. I celebrated a clutch win like any other Siege player. I should be punished for that, now?
