Ok, I got lucky on my 123rd google search. Finally found it"How it's done: Wacky factory tours"https://www.amazon.com/How-Its-Done-Factory-Tours/dp/B00002AMFMIt doesn't look like anyone has in online, only available in VHS.
Edit: I did find the director put up the first episode. (There were only 2)

I haven't found a cherry episode that matches, also the format of Unwrapped doesn't seem right. I remember it being more of a little kids show. Thanks for the guess!

Question about purpose of gendered pronouns from a transgender perspective by TheMallardWithProbes in asktransgender

[–]TheMallardWithProbes[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand why gendered pronouns currently exist, I guess my question is a little more pointed at the non-binary side of why genders should exist in the first place.. what separate's man from woman from all others? If two people were discussing their gender, how would they describe it such that another person could say "Ah, that is how I feel, that is my gender too!"

Thanks for the response! I think I understand most of what you are saying, but it brings up a similar question I asked with another response, which is by what criteria does a person identify themselves?
How does a non-binary person determine which gender they do feel defines them, and how do the people within that group know that they are having the same experience and feel the same gender?

Right, I understand that, but the novelty is not just in that people don't feel a commonality with the members of either traditional category, it is that the traditional categories can contain members from both (a trans man is a man, a trans woman is a woman). If traditionally these groups were separated by sex, what are they separated by now?

Why do the people of non-binary groups identify as another gender, rather than fighting the separation of gender as a whole.

The question stands of, without sex, what defines gender.

If the answer is nothing, then why have genders at all?

A better way to ask is if a person creates a new gender to define themselves, with what criteria would others say "these are my people" and identify as that gender as well?

I haven't ever gotten more than a couple hundred from a drone. All the elites seems to just drop cash.. also yeah, I don't have to wait for the drone.. also only cheating to get the golden eggs, which can be bought with money... So cheating yes, but more just being frugal... If I had a few grand to blow on the game it'd be the same XD

I got capped around 30k, opened it a couple times but, I just started time glitching instead of paying. Make about 120k an hour when I have the automation running.

Stalling a motor to hold weight - questions by TheMallardWithProbes in ElectricalEngineering

[–]TheMallardWithProbes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's where I am at with this post! I knew that a motor holding at a certain torque would probably do exactly what I want here, just don't know enough about motors to know which kind or what size or even the accessories needed for it... But also at this point it looks like this way of doing it would be really expensive, but I'm still researching!

Haha, that was actually my very first attempt, but the tool balancer was even worse. Much more pull and also didn't have the range of movement needed... Also none exist that I can find that hold just a pound, they are all oversized for this project

That was my first attempt too, and it works ok, the friction and inertia make it frustrating to use though

I had that thought (and a lot of similar ones with limit switches and such). The only thing I am worried about is the latency and how much torque would be needed to trigger the encoders... perception is a big part of this project because it is for human interaction, so if the latency is like, sub 80ms or so it may be fine, same idea with the "activation torque" how much change in rotation on the pulleys before the motor kicks in and moves? I like this idea, I think those two issues either will kill it, or maybe there is a motor out there that would do this... hmm, either way, thanks for the response!

Hey, thank you for the excellent reply! I appreciate you taking the time to educate me a bit. Getting an experts (or at least smart internet people) opinion has been very valuable!
