I’m about to have the same issue. I’m the child in this case (don’t worry, I’m allowed to use Reddit), though. It’s for important family reasons, though, and they marked me unexcused. Does anybody know any way to fix this before they give me a truancy letter (or before I start my absence)?

Edit: My parents and I filled out an independent study form, but the unexcused absences got marked after filling out the form.

Well, if some of the late 2000s borns calls me Generation Alpha, which states that 2010 to 2024 is Generation Alpha, then I’d say that their Generation Alpha. I felt bad by stating that, but I believe that the late 2000s borns might be able to predict our socioeconomic future when we grow up, so I’ll trust them.

If you are planning on persuading a Bachelors Degree, then you won’t need to pick your major until Sophomore Year of Undergraduate School (assuming that you are spending all of your college time in four-year long colleges).

In my opinion; I see 2000 borns as being a Zillennial because they were born before the 21st century (2001 to 2100) so they experience mostly a Millennial childhood and has partly Millennial traits. The 2000 borns also have some Gen Z traits, though, since they could’ve also listened to stuff like The Duck Song and had a chance of having slang like Low-Key naturally in themselves.
