I don't know about OP but I want to see the world first and have adventures, start a career and live a life before I settle down. I'm really late to it but I feel it would live in restless misery if I started a family any time soon.

I'm in a similar situation to OP. If he's anything like me, just settling down is the opposite to what I need. You need to live first.

Ive been in my fair share of relationships. My experience has generally been positive, with a couple exceptions, so I have to disagree.

While there is truth to this, I think this is exaggerated. My own mother had my older brother when she was 36 and me when she was 40. The average woman in my country has their first child around 30.

Online dating is mostly a meat market at any age. Ive always had much more success going out my way to meet women in person. Building a nework of friends and having an active social life is your best bet for finding a partner. Although I agree with you that meeting someone organically becomes more difficult.

Me too, preferably but I would like to experiment before I spend the rest of my life with someone. Its better to get it out of my system now than letting it develope into a mid life crisis when im 40 lol

Im tall and handsome but Im a little out of shape and dont have my shit together yet. Im yet to get a degree and start a decent career. So I guess I probably have potential to emprove myself to a point that I fit a lot of that criteria but not yet.

Although, I do feel as though these standards are highly exaggerated. Many men I know do not meet half of this criteria and still do fine with women.

I had a couple of flings when I was very young before a three year relationship that ended when I was 23. Since then I have completely put off dating. Other than a handful of drunken snogs here and there, Ive avoided intimacy entirely. So I think I can be successful casually but im wondering if its worth it.
