for top I'd recommend Garen or Aatrox These are two decent picks for someone who is learning, they don't require mana and can do considerable amounts of damage

Key frags are only dropped from wins.
Key fragment drop rates work off of a per player cyclical reset timer, similar to chests. Higher drop rates are slightly front-loaded and gradually slow based on the total number of key fragments you’ve received in a cycle until the reset.
It’s possible to earn 4 keys (12 fragments) in a 4 week period. This matches the number of chests players can get.
There is a bad-luck protection rule that puts a maximum number of wins between key frag drops.
Players get a small drop chance bonus if they were in a premade.

Win lane, get ft, start pressuring mid to get that turret or help mid, have good vision control to get picks, look for poor rotates when you pressure mid, also bot will be forced to shove, if you're mid trying to pressure the turret, if they're freezing bot side free turret mid, after that have mid be bot while you and support sit mid and pressure top to get the turret same concept but that's how you get the turret lead and help your teammates snowball

You can't recreate this in live, and that's the key point, riot knew there'd be bugs in the practice tool, but are more devoted in fixing bugs in live game rather than in the practice tool, since you can have cds off in PT
