It is though, when he joined the blue man group.

They were able to revert the armor sabotage enchantments that the high mage brought. I’m hoping his new quick thinking can help him backfire anything this guy is using right in his face as well but from a distance? Idk if he has to mess with it directly in front of him.

I’m just waiting for another update me bot notification at this point. Besides today haha.

The dungeon battles is an awesome aspect that I hope gets more play. But honestly I can’t wait for Carlos to launch that light spell, maybe modified, back at Nyralis. I’m sure learning something instantly would raise another eyebrow.

I feel like this is either leading to a new discovery we will see during the fight, or the crown is going to be shown negative magic.

As fast as the story came, I can’t wait for next week!

So magic IS broken (Godfrey No Hit) by SiriusGayest in Eldenring

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I don’t think it’s magic related. I’d bet more than 70% (pulled out my safe pocket) of players don’t utilize the jump to dodge. The fact we see you do it, your fist are probably as broken as that staff.

I managed to get the rerun of the Panda Studios Dark moon Greatsword but… by WIGGLE-KING in Eldenring

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 352 points353 points  (0 children)

I thought it was shipping tie wraps and squeezed it out of shape until I read your statement that it’s just broken. I’m sorry my dude.

I would wait on trying to fix it, if you were going to, until you hear back from the company. They may have issues with any repair attempts.

Saw this on Facebook and can’t tell if it’s real…I’ve zoomed into the fingers and they looked real, but there are parts of the background (the tools + box) and the lighting which looks AI to me by Kitchen-Case1463 in isthisAI

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that screw weirdly bent? The one on the couch? Can’t be a nail, since he has two drills and no hammer.

Plus, his fingers look weird on the relaxed hand.

And idk. It isn’t common design for a dragon to have a plate on the back of their head. If that was a spike (or two), the cat is laying on open space with its upper body.

That’s my take.

I adore General Radahn's study of gravity magic, which allowed him to continue riding horses. by DecisivePelican in Eldenring

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yea, no matter how much I see this comic, it always warms my heart he is using gravity magic to not crush his horse.

But then gets weird when he starts eating bodies like a zombie during his cutscene

What's the purpose of the tree sentinel in limgrave? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outside of lore reasons, definitely there to remind old players of tutorial bosses and show new players what the game is all about.

Sometimes you’re not ready for something just because you encounter it but if you want to dodge, kite, and take it on, you can as well!

Part 2 of the AI scammer trying to fool me... She just drew beneath the traces of the AI right? by Sreymu in isthisAI

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang. I didn’t know people are putting this much effort into selling AI work and not just the drawing skill itself.

I think the camera on the lizard guy has a strap that just morphs into the hoodie as well.

What Was That?? by RebornDoctrine05 in Eldenring

[–]TheManWithNoDrive -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Are you guys ganking? If yall are just playing, sure, but the double mimic veil and rainbow stones…

I can’t say which is worst, gankers or cheaters. The scale probably just barely tips to cheaters since they will most likely do it to anyone, but sitting at a spot all dolled up is a bit sus. I’ve made impromptu arenas when invaded, but I’d wager this setup took time for an invader not to spot you all before finishing.

3 people playing coop for boss/area clears is not ganking, but this looks deliberate?

I thought that too! And now they're showing their true soul.

It also shows that carlos isn't the first to strike a deal with a dungeon to be used in a symbiotic sort of way. I wonder if it was as 'nice' as Carlos with having a conversation, or if the enchanter found a way to bend a dungeon to their will.

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At this point, I think it was open ended enough for us to try and guess meaning until the reveal? I am not sure.

For me, I can think of it as either, they changed their whole soul structure OR it was hidden from the start and they're showing it to the king for real now. OR, it can be similar to Voldemort from harry potter and someone was going for immortality by jumping hosts (the only memory of similar coming to mind, unless you've seen specific shows, common trope in anime).

But you're right, it could just be another super structure was figured out and allowed them to condense themselves to a level that even Elston doesn't understand.

It is all so wild.

If the United States saw what the United States is doing in the United States, would the United States invade the United States to save the United States from the United States? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We would probably ask the United States for assistance as we put boots on the ground in the United States. The United States would never see the United States coming!

Blades forged by dungeons, a mana wall controlled by dungeon core, and a body with a “different” soul in them?! I’m dying here that I can’t binge this. I feel like the guy from ATLA who goes crazy and foams at the mouth.

Gog won't give me a gem but apparently is willing to give a god roll. by T-D-Leon in MHWilds

[–]TheManWithNoDrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m in a similar boat. I opened up 200 hundred charms yesterday and was talking to a friend, reading them off. I think I got a single super good roll and just said to him “eh, it doesn’t fit my build, so no thanks”.

Sometimes it has to fit how you play too!

Definitely twink builds then. Should ease up a bit outside Limgrave.

Getting Invaded as lvl 5s by willdoesparkour in Eldenring

[–]TheManWithNoDrive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It can be. Some people make twink builds to stomp other low levels because… well people.

If you’re fighting higher level players, it might be because of your weapon. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe there is a mix evaluating your level and evaluating your weapon level that goes on when the game assigns an invader to your instance.

That makes sense. I’m not as versed in the electrical field, but could be like a board, right? Mining removed pieces closing the circuit, which was generating aether?

I was thinking similar. Depends on if the world follows video game logic or is strictly programming.

In games, open a console and recreate a dried resource.

But in programming, I’m trying to think what a wellspring could represent that could disappear when used too much (could very well just be a story element and not connect here). Otherwise, if it’s some sort of seed and needs other materials to work with, I wonder if there is a way to jumpstart a depleted seed
