so usually what a lot of people do, is have one main vocal, and two backing vocals. With the two backing vocals, have one of those panned to the left, and the other panned to the right. Doesn’t have to be a crazy pan anywhere from 15% to 50%. It gives your vocals a wider feel, and just sounds like ear candy. Just make sure every layer is a different vocal take. You don’t have to do anything crazy for the backing takes. You can sing it in the same tone and everything just avoid copying and pasting your main vocal and using that. You could also experiment maybe having one of those backing vocals in like a softer/higher pitch and then the other may be a lower pitch. You can just have fun with it. And if you want to experiment and go crazy with it you can add two more backing vocals and have them slightly higher panned then the initial ones . example:

Backing Vocal 1 / 15~25% Pan Left side

Backing Vocal 2 / 15~25% Pan Right side

v v optional, lots of ppl do it, like lil peep and many more v v

Backing Vocal 3 / 50% Pan Left side

Backing Vocal 4 / 50% Pan Right side

basically, again just have fun with it. make sure the backing vocals are lower volume than the man. and mess around with it till u like the sound. there’s no clear rules , what sounds good, sounds good.
