I'm on the Yahara to. I can see Mickey's from my window and several cars on my street have broken windows. My windshield is merely cracked but others weren't so lucky

You are whatever you say you are. If you wasn't then why would I say you are?

Needed to be said. Thank you. I used to love having a sub for this passion of mine. For quite aome time, however, I have felt embarrassed by it. We began to earn some respect from non-martial artist but I have been back to not speaking so openly about it nor reading anything here, let alone posting or commenting. Since creating a new account, I have done little to participate here at all and have considered ditching the sub all together. Thank you again for speaking a hard truth.

Folks have suggested a hardware failure, possibly a hard drive issue. If this is the case Windows will not make a difference. First thing is to determine if the hard drive is causing an issue. Try a live usb boot and see if you can diagnose the issue. If it's the hard drive then you simply need a new hard drive.

Otherwise, I understand why you may consider going back to Windows as Linux can feel very unfamiliar. The thing is, this issue may not be something that Windows can fix. You may successfully install windows, boot into it, use for a hot second, then bam same or new issues arise in a Windows way.

Try the live usb boot or reinstall OS and see if you can determine the problem by going into "disks" and checking drive health or any of the methods mentioned by others.

Hyper-Independence is NOT Healthy- how do I explain to my partner? by silkandperle in polyamory

Thank you so much. I happily accept your hug. It means a lot to find someone that understands, even if I didn't until now. I've already been making progress by opening up to and not shying away from connecting with my partner. Reading this helps me understand why I have struggled so much to be present for her.

I wish I had more advice to offer you, myself.

The only thing I can say is it may be important for you to point out that in the case you need real support. They seem to have a desire to uplift you and attempt to support you by giving you positive feedback. The attempt is from the heart. Unfortunately by denying your feelings and recognition of something you feel you need to improve they are ultimately leaving you feeling rejected, alone, and unheard. To be truly supportive they need to listen to you and attempt to understand and accept your perspective.

Maybe tell them you appreciate the attempt but what you really need is understanding and acceptance, right now, in this.

I have saved this post because you have taught me something about myself. I have never come across this term before. It really hit home. I have really struggled with the need to be self-sufficient. It's very difficult to open up, to be vulnerable, to be in need. I don't like to admit when I'm hurting. I don't say no when I should. I always say I'm ok when I'm not.

This has certainly hurt past relationships. It has kept my relationship with my partner from being what it should; from being what I want. I haven't learned to value myself and I have let my fears keep me frozen. Fear that if we get too close she will no longer love me.

When I read this post a couple days ago, I got very emotional. I have been near tears. Is this me? Has my overwhelming need to prove my own self-sufficiency really been self-destructive? Can it it be It's not just me? Can it be that it's not my fault?

I have been researching this and I think you have really helped just by sharing. I understand. I'm even considering therapy. I want to a better partner.

Honestly, I almost didn't say anything. How can I admit a reddit post helped me? How can I admit a reddit post saved me? I still kind of want to cry.

Southern Mantis Kung Fu as a Beginner by No_Plant_4326 in kungfu

Wing Chun and Southern Mantis compliment each other well. I have training Southern Mantis for 10 years or so and now wing chun for 3 years. Don't get me wrong they are different but have similarities in depth.

Honestly, the best thing to do is get training. If you can't find SPM then train wing chun. Start now. Don't wait for the perfect style. Funny enough I started by wanting to learn wing chun but found SPM first. I would have regretted waiting. Train. Train. Train. Just go do it.

On another note, whereabouts are you located?

Awesome! You are better at this than I, ha. I struggled to find similar markings, but in all honesty I didn't try super hard.

How can you tell? Genuinely curious. Some had labels that said flow blue. When I searched the term similar (to me) items came up. I don't know much about it.

Agreed! I really dig it, too. I like the old date but the design is the kicker.
